I woke early the next morning with an uneasy feeling in my stomach. I wasn't entirely sure what it was but it made me winced as I rolled over onto my stomach, burying my head in my pillow.

Even from my bed, I could hear music playing from downstairs. I assumed that it was Liam again, trying to distract himself. I was worried about him. He'd been so off and so distant. It was scary, to see the man I loved so upset and different.

I didn't blame him for acting different. He'd just found out the truth behind everything tragic that had happened in his life. He had just found out all the secrets that he'd been oblivious to for so long.

He trusted Henry. He trusted the men in the pack. He trusted all of them. They all let him down. They had broken his trust, and I was sure he was trying hard to figure out how to build it up again.

I just needed Liam, my Liam.

I winced and groaned softly as my stomach cramped painfully. I tensed and gripped the pillow hard. I had a feeling of what it was, burning couldn't be sure.

"Sugar, what's wrong?" Liam's voice was soft. I felt him rub my shoulder and I rolled over onto my back again.

He stared down at me weakly, holding a hand to my forehead. I winced again, biting back a gasp of pain.

"What's happening? Why are you hurting?" Liam asked. He looked concerned, too concerned for what it was.

His hand shot down to my navel, his hand slowly rubbing against my skin. It calmed my anxious beast.

"It's okay... it's the witches. I think they want me to see them again," I whispered out as I looked to the alarm clock on the nightstand. It was ten in the morning.

I'd slept in. Nightmares during the night kept me up pretty late.

"Why would they hurt you?" Liam asked through a growl. I shook my head at him as I sat up.

"It's the only way they can reach me. It'll stop when I get to their cottage," I said, pulling back the blanket. Liam helped me out of bed. He kissed the side of my head gently.

"I'm coming with you," Liam told me. I nodded at him. He deserved to finally meet the witches that knew all of Henry's secrets.

"Henry always told me that we had witches in the pack, but he never let me meet them. Probably because he thought I'd be curious about them," Liam explained softly as he walked me to the dresser.

Ezra had delivered most of my clothes to the house the night before. Liam and I him a tour and then listened to him scolding us on safe sex for about twenty minutes before he left.

"If you want to ask them questions, you can. They've been begging me to tell you everything for ages now. They're on our side," I told Liam as I stripped away my clothes. I pulled on leggings and a hoodie.

It was still raining outside. I figured that the witches thought it would be a good idea for me to visit while it was raining. All wolves hated being outside while it rained.

"Are you going to ask them about Henry's old pack?" Liam asked me. I nodded at him and pulled my hair back into a pony tail as I sat on the end of the bed to pull on shoes.

My stomach began to hurt again and I winced. The witches were clearly persistent and eager to speak with me.

I hoped it was the witches anyway. Unexplained stomach pains wasn't something I wanted to deal with.
