"You're innocent," Preto announced, looking down at Masaya. The white jaguar let out a sigh of relief, then realized that she was pressed up against him. She looked back down at her paws, but didn't move.
"Well, if she's innocent, then who is it?" Rugido asked angrily. He was done with this murderer. His entire family was dead, except for Nuvem and Kapok. Almost all of the senior warriors had been killed, and the only high ranking member left was the shaman's apprentice.
"It could be anyone, Rugido. You all said the exact same things when voting Macaco out," Raio replied bitterly. The same thing had happened with Nindiri as well.
"Calm down, Raio. That's not Rugido's fault," Machupo told him. Raio turned to his brother, tail lashing back and forth. The young jaguar was done too. His father was dead, and Macaco was gone.
"Easy for you to say! Chuva is still here!" he spat, getting in his brother's face, "Maybe I should just go join Macaco's tribe! Then I wouldn't end up dying like the rest of you!" The golden jaguar then spun around, and stalked off to the hunter den.
"He didn't mean those things," Nuvem told Machupo, placing her tail comfortingly on his shoulder. Machupo shrugged it off, then stalked away as well. She looked to Rugido, and the two elders left as well.

Javari awoke in the Tribe of Darkened Skies again, and knew that no one would be coming to save her this time. She was the only jaguar who had been saved, so the odds of it happening again were next to none.
"Welcome back, Javari. Glad you could make it," the shadow cat hissed mockingly. Javari growled at it and immediately leapt, tackling it to the ground.
"You won't orphan Raio and Machupo! Not if I can help it!" she yowled, tearing at the murderer's pelt. The murderer disappeared out from under her, and reappeared on top of her.
"You have absolutely no power here," it growled. It tore at Javari's pelt, and with the power granted to it by the powers of the Tribe of Darkened Skies, she couldn't push it off.
"Let go of me!" she roared, struggling. But the shadow cat didn't, and pretty soon, she disappeared from the dark jungle. Then Galho was standing before her, and she realized that she was dead.

"Javari! No! First my father, then Macaco, and now my mother? Why is the murderer doing this?!" Raio yowled. He had been doing the daily check to see who had been murdered, and had stumbled across Javari's body.
Machupo burst into the fighter den as well, having heard Raio's yowl. He let out a strangled cry when he saw Javari's body, and knelt down next to her. "No, no. Why her?" The twins were numbed to what was happening.
In something that seemed more like a dream, the rest of the tribe came in. Chuva and Rugido blocked the twins' view of Javari, pinning them against the den wall. Preto and Masaya moved the female's body out of the den, and into the center of camp. Nuvem took care of Kapok, making sure he didn't see the body. Then they went back into the center of camp, heads hung.
"Does anyone have any accusations?" Nuvem asked quietly. No one answered. The accusation system wasn't accurate. There was no one left to accuse anyone anyway. Both the Chieftain and the Warchief were dead.
"No. Let's just all vote for what we think. Guilty for one of the other tribemates, or innocent all. Whatever option has the most votes will decide what happens," Masaya replied quietly. The others nodded in agreement. Voting would proceed like this from now on.
