Chapter 9- Safe Haven

Jace's P.O.V

Alec, Seb, and he were taking about how Clary was taken and maybe how to find her if its not too late I hope. I will be destroyed if Clary is hurt. Then Izzy came in with water on her eyes.

"Izzy what's wrong?" Alec asked.

"It's Simon!" she screamed and then I heard him screaming. We all went to Izzy's room and there he was. Simon wad hyperventilating and grunting. We pulled him onto the bed and he kept holding his chest. Then he finally said "Clary". Then he faints.

Alec is calming down Izzy while me and Seb take him downstairs. We put him on the couch and he isn't physically hurt. Wimp, maybe he hit his elbow out something. I grabbed alcohol and gave it to Seb. He put it on Simon's nose and he jumps up then grunts and lies down.

"What was that about Simon?" I ask sitting down. "Well you know there's this telepathic thing twins have?" he asked and we nod. "It's kind of like that but instead I could feel what she feels because we have known each other forever. Then tonight I had headaches but didn't think there was anything wrong, but then later on I started having chest pains and loss of air. Then I realized it was Clary. She must be in terrible danger. We have to find.. What's that?" Simon then looks over by the window and we see a bird with a piece of paper on it.

"Do you guys own a bird?" Sebastian asks. "No not that I know of." I said and the bird lands on Simon's arm which is outstretched. "uh Simon who's bird is that?" asked Seb. Simon's face goes gloomy" it's Clary's his name is Sebastian. He would asked bring me messages from Clary when she needed me or wanted to see me." Simon looked sad but do did Seb. "Can I see the note?" I asked not wanting them to see it. Simon hands it to me and I open it.

I don't have much time. Please find me. Don't let anyone see this Simon. I am in the hills. Tell Izzy I'm fine and to not panic. Tell Jace I forgive him and that I give him a chance. Help me

I'm worried about Clary. She's been taken hostage. I will kill that bastard no matter what. I was scared for her but couldn't help smile because she forgave me and gave me a chance to show her how I feel. "Let me see that" said Sebastian and Simon was relieved because he had seen the note first. Then Sebastian just gave me lo

a look.

"Okay now you have a bigger responsibility of finding Clary. That way you earn my decision. Now lets get sleep and then find Clary." says Sebastian. And so we did.
Clary's P.O.V

Thank God I found Sebastian, my bird. I was whistling because I wanted to get rid of fear. I woke up on my bed and then I was in just my jeans and a bra. I was half naked. Then Augustus came in smiling. I hid Sebastian. "I was gonna have fun with you but then I decided to keep you awake."

"What did you do to me?" I said trying to hide in my tears but my face was scared. He looked almost sad and unwillingly he said "I'm sorry I didn't mean for you to choke." I gave him a questioning look then he shook his head and said "You deserve to feel pain." Then he left. 'I wonder what that's about?'

Then I get a piece of paper in the cabinet I found from the room. I start writing,

I hope Jace finds a way to read this. Then right when Sebastian was gonna take off he came in. I threw him out the window and left to find Simon.
