A Wedding to Remember Part 4

I take a final look at Magnus and jog out the house. Augustus is at the center of the street.

"Where?" he points towards what seems to be a forest. I was able to see a glance of a falling shadow. Clary.

"Guys! Let's go like Magnus says, before it's too late." everyone walks out.

"I'll check the city out. Come on, Iz." says Simon and I nod. I walk next to Magnus.

"So, now you wanna tell me what that bastard is planning." He sighs. "It's not good. He plans on becoming immortal and powerful." I raise a brow. "That's not good but what about Clary?" I emphasize because I worry. Magnus hesitates, "Being immortal comes with a price. For him to become completely immortal...He has to take the heart of the one thing he truly loves, in this case, it's Clary" I was enraged.

"What do you mean? Sebastian is gonna kill her." asks Alec. I like that Clary and Alec are becoming better friends. Augustus was already mad by his expression. Magnus looked grim, "Sadly yes. That's why we need to get to get before she gets hurt." Then Simon and Izzy come back.

"It seems to be empty. People must have left. I never knew this place was ancient already, but we did find this." Izzy shows a pistol. Augustus takes it with him and I nod.

After all this time I glance back and see two shadows but the looks of it doesn't put me at ease.

Clary's P.O.V

I left the shadows for later and glanced back. I see Sebastian rising with a small glow. I try to reach for something and find a small blade from Sebastian's satchel. I raise it before he gets near.

"Oh this is great. Now for the final piece of the puzzle." He grins and I walk backwards. He reaches out and I swing my arm. I left a small cut on his lower arm, which is now bleeding. He then kicks me down. I fall with a thud and he grabs me by my neck. I try to pull his hand away but it was no use. I snap a branch from the tree and whack him. I gasp for air.

"What....the hell....do you..want from me?" my voice was raspy and out of breathe. "I need you because you are what I truly love and love is the last thing I need to be powerful. I need your heart, dear sister." I gasp and try to run away but he pulls my hair making me fall backwards. I fall with a thud and a cut on my leg. I fell on a piece of glass, I pull it out and felt a sting. I limp myself up.

"You wouldn't, if you love me so much, you wouldn't kill me." I spat. He chuckles, "But I love you so much that your presence isn't enough." I find the blade again and point it at it. "You are no longer my brother." I says through gritted teeth.

"Don't make this harder than it should." Then he cut a gash in my stomach from behind. I gasp and scream. I felt a warm smell of metal, it's blood. I'm not stopping now. I get up and kick him in the stomach. He falls back but gets back up quickly and he was already healed.

"How are you healed?!" I yelled. He grins, "I'm practically immortal, besides the fact that I need your precious heart." I nod my head. I then see a clearer view of the shadows. I see golden hair. Jace. I then see others and I almost forgot I was trying to kill my brother. In that moment of distraction, he pulled my hair and had the blade against my neck.

"Let's go pay my brother-in-law a visit. How bout that?" he chuckles and I hold my stance but was kicked and I tripped. I got up and walked into the grove of the forest towards Idris.

Jace's P.O.V

"Okay we now know what is going on and we have to fight back." said Simon. We all nod. We were gonna continue talking when he hear a loud voice.

"Welcome brother. Sorry I missed the wedding, but here we are now." I glare at his face but soon vanishes when I see my read head with a blade at her neck.

"Let her go, Sebastian!" I yelled. Alec already had his bow out and ready. Augustus had a short sword and Magnus had a cross bow. Simon had put Izzy behind him and took out a sword. I took out my dagger. "Why would I? Clary is th he most important part. Oh and I knew you couldn't stay away so I decided to make it a fair fight." As if on que, about 10 guys appeared around him.

I caught Clary's eyes and I nod. I look at everyone and they nod in response. Alec yells and we run up the hill. Sebastian's men already charged towards us.

Clary's P.O.V

No. No this can't be happening. My dream, I dreaded that this would become real. I knew how thud would end but I couldn't handle it. That moment of charge distracted Sebastian and I grabbed the blade. I swiftly moved my hand and cut his cheek. I chuckle. Then I kick Sebastian again in the top half of his chest and he stumbles back. I take my chance and run away but feel a burning feeling in my side. I sprinted but then was taken in darkness.

Amazing way to maybe have an ending plot. I might update this and another chapter this weekend because once I begin writing, I can't stop. Until next time
