chapter 14- Nightmares

Izzy's P.O.V

I chuckled right after Clary left. I'm so happy for her because after all of this she's able to be happy again. I was so lost in thought I didn't hear Simon open the door.

"What you doing tonight?" asked Simon.

I blush."Not much, why?" 

"Would you like to go to the movies with me?" asked Simon staring at the floor.

"I would love to. Give me 5 minutes and i'll meet you down there. Ok?" i said happily. Simon smiled, a relieved smile then he left the room. For once I was shocked and lost not knowing what to wear. This normally never happens. I put on jeans and high heels with a white top. I walk towrds the door and simon was outside in a coat.

"Ready?" asked Simon. I nod and we walk towrds the movies. 

I had a great time with Simon. He made me laugh and smile, not many guys made me feel like that. I didn't want to say the 'L' word before he did because what if he doesn't say it back? We walked home and Simon gave me a good bye kiss. 

"See you at school, Izzy." said Simon and i turnerd towards the door where Alec was now standing. 

"Yell at me tommorow, don't ruin the mood cuz you know what happens." i said and smirked as Alec raised his hands walking away. I smirk and lay on my bed smiling about remembering the day I had with Simon. Then drifted to sleep. 

Clary's P.O.V

Jace had dropped me off at my door. He kissed me passionetly and left. I was smiling like a mad man all night till i fell asleep. Jace was on my mind all the time, but when I was lost I saw him, laughing at me and smiling. Augustus was an echo in my head  that I couldn't get rid of no matter what. I fear that he couldn't have just died like that, it doesn't seem right.

I feel asleep on that thought.

I was standing in a white dress, long and silky. 'How did I get here?' I was holding flowers and then there was my family, Luke and Mom. Then there was Alec, Magnus, Izzy, and Simon.'Where's Jace?'

I realize it's my wedding, am I marrying Jace? Just then I see a silhouette of a man in a black suit. He turns around and I stop in my tracks.

"Augustus?" I said shaking. My friends looked curiously at me, what thinking what I was thinking.

"Hey honey." he said grabbing my arm.
"Where's Jace?" I said scared.

"Who's Jace? that blond guy, he's long gone. I had to get rid of him to get here." he said grinning. I then turn around and I see a vast land of dead trees and fire. My friends had gone and so had my parents. I try to run but Augustus holds me back.

"Let me go!....

Then I feel someone shaking my shoulders. I jump up in shock and fall on the ground. I sit up and hug my knees.

"Clary! Are you ok? what's wrong?" I hear a worried brotherly voice. Only one person is like that. Simon

"Y yeah I'm fine. What time is it?" I asked not wanting to look scared. Simon pulled me up and into a hug, he knew me so well.

"It's ok don't worry, what happened, what did you see?" asked Simon.

"I'll tell you on the way to school. Let me get dressed." I said and Simon left. I changed into jeans and a top with my jacket.

Simon was leaning on the staircase and followed me down the steps.

Simon's P.O.V

I went to check on Clary because I hadn't had a chance to be with her in a while. I went to visit and Clary was sleeping. She sweating, painting, and shaking in her sleep. I shake her and she falls.

I panic but realize she needs a hug by the look on her face. She puts her face in my chest. Even though my relationship with Clary didn't work out well, I still have this brotherly bond with her.

She told me to wait outside and I did. She came out and was gonna tell me what her dream was but all I heard was,

"Augustus" I knew that Clary was gonna say that. She has been hurt enough that it's not possible to forget.

Then I look at her, "go on"

"I was gonna get married...to him. Hee had...killed Jace" she paused and a tear feel, I pulled her into my arms for reassurance. "Everyone was there and the next...they were gone. I was standing on a hill...next to him. I wanted to run away........but he caught me.. and that's all I can remember because you showed up." She finished wiping her tears away.

We made it to school and I left to find Izzy. I said good bye and Clary went inside.

Clary's P.O.V

It felt good telling someone what's wrong, mostly Simon since he knew everything.

I didn't want to come to school. I can't even look at the Lightwood's anymore without feeling sad. I even have to stay away from Jace. Even though it hurts, it'll hurt me more knowing I'll put them in harms way.

Then I go to my locker and Alec appears but I walk away. He looked baffled but it's for the best.

I go to class and Jace sits next to me. He tries to hold my hand but I pull away.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

"Nothing's wrong" I said quickly.

"You can tell me everything." he said but the bell had rung and I leaped out of my chair to leave. Even Izzy was confused when I left.

I ran in the hall because I knew either Jace or Izzy will follow me. I run into a bathroom and scream my heart out. Then I cry. But that wasn't it.

I hear the stalls move. 'Uh oh, what bathroom did I go in?!' Then Sebastian appeared. He looked shocked at first but then worried. He pulls me up and hugs me.

Sebastian's P.O.V

I went to the bathroom after class and then I here screaming. I zip my pants up and then I see a little red head on the floor.

I pick her up and ask "What's wrong Clary? and why are you in here?"

She looks at me with those delicate watery green eyes. "I had a dream.....more of a nightmare. Everyone I knew and loved were gone...and Augustus was there. Jace was dead....I was standing next to Augustus. I'm scared that I might cause them danger and harm if I stay with them." She finishes.

"Let's go to your dorm to change cuz you look bad." Then she laughs and punches me in the arm. "I'm kidding but it'll help. Then we can go to Taki's for lunch." I finished. She nods.

"But can you help me keep away from the Lightwood's... and Jace?" She asked. I nod and walk her to her dorm.
