The Final Stand

Izzy's P.O.V

I ran up and immediately met a tall looking guy. I took out my bo staff and blocked his sword. I kicked him and he flew back. He got up and punched me. I grunt at the pain but twirled my staff and knocked him cold. I look around and see Alec handling it with Magnus surrounded by 4 guys. Jace was owning it, he seemed to be taking his anger out on these people. I see Simon fighting off one but then see someone running behind him. I ran towards Simon and grabbed a small knife from his back. I cut the guy and after a few minutes I was a little cut but he was knocked out.

"Thanks Iz." says Simon grinning. "I always have to save you don't I." I said flirtatiously. He smiles and kisses my cheek. I then see Clary and then she falls. Sebastian shot an arrow. I was gonna go towards her but many more guys were coming.

"Jace! Cover me, I have to get to Clary!" He looks at me then Clary. He balled his fist but ran in front of me. He started cutting and pushing while I tried to get through. I was almost there to be pushed down.

"Not a chance, sister." says Sebastian. I glare at him and get up. I slash at him but he moves. He then moves towards me with a sword, I caught part of the blow but let it go. He was gonna bring it down now that I was on the ground but hear a clash.

"Don't you dare touch them." says Augustus through gritted teeth. Then he starts fighting Sebastian. I got up and stood next to him. "No! Go help Clary! I'll take care of him." He says and I nod. Augustus then begins fighting Sebastian. I fall on the ground in front of Clary. Her wound was bad and she was losing blood easily.

I put pressure on it but call Magnus and Alec over. "Magnus! Please tell me you can heal her. She's losing blood very quickly." I said at Magnus. Alec was blocking us. "Duck!" I ducked before Alec shot an arrow at a person behind me fall in front of me.

"Yes but she looks pale. Let's get her somewhere on flat ground." Alec reaches down and carries her bridal style. We pass Jace, "Go help Augustus, it isn't a fair fight. Clary is gonna be okay, I promise." Jace has sorrow filled eyes but runs toward Augustus.

Alec lays her down in the entrance of the house. Magnus had already gotten some supplies from the house. Now we just had to see if Clary was gonna be alright.

Jace's P.O.V

I reach the top to see Augustus' shirt almost completely covered in blood. Sebastian had a few scratches or so. I stood next to Augustus in a strong stance.

"About bloody time you got here." He says sarcastically. "Why? Miss me." I said back. He chuckles but begin fighting again. I swing my sword back and forth. I caught at Sebastian's arm and Augustus got his leg. I hit him in the stomach with the bottom of my sword.

"That's for taking Clary away from me. On our wedding day." I spat. Augustus cuts his cheek, "That's for hurting her." I nod at him. I turned my back to see if Clary was alright when I fell to the ground. I look back.

"No!!!" I screamed. It sounded hoarse and muffled because of the shock. Augustus had a silver gleam shining through his chest while blood spread on his shirt. It disappeared afterwards, revealing a Sebastian with a bloody sword. I reach for Augustus and put his head on my lap. His eyes were gleaming.

"Take care....of Clary....for me." were his final words. I then felt like crying but didn't shed a tear. I reached for Augustus' sword and got up. If I was enraged earlier, now I'm furious. I yell and lunge towards Sebastian. I keep hitting and thrashing and pushing st him. It looked like Sebastian couldn't handle so much force but managed to gain control. He started fighting back and I cut my side. I then reach forward and jab him with my sword in the shoulder. He fell to the ground in a heap. I decided to leave him there to die and walked down the hill towards Clary.

What am I gonna tell her? Augustus died trying to save my life. I reached Clary and ran towards her ignoring the others. I grabbed her hand and kissed it. Clary begins to move around and tries to open those beautiful green eyes. I kiss her forehead when she opens her eyes completely.

"Oh Clary you're alive. You got me worried sick, I wouldn't know what to do without you. I told you I'd find you." I said kissing her forehead and trailing kisses down her face till I reached her lips. It was a slow and soft kiss but full of passion. It wasn't fierce because Clary was hurt.

"I knew you would. What happened?" she asked. "You got shot with an arrow in the side. " Her eyes grow wide, "The baby? Is she safe?! Was she hurt?" asked Clary. "Yes it's perfectly fine, but maybe a little more, it would have been a long night. Plus I think you should make it official."

I chuckle, "Right, guys, Clary and I have been wanting to tell you guys that we are gonna have a baby." I hear Izzy squeal and Simon laugh. "That's great news guys! I'm still mad about you keeping it a secret from me." says Izzy carefully hugging Clary. "Congratulations man. You're gonna be an awesome dad." says Simon patting my back. I smile. We then hear the door slam open.

"Think you can get rid of me that easily, nice try." He grins. Everyone grabs a stance in front of Clary lying on the couch. He reaches forwards but doesn't go far. A booming sound flood the room and Sebastian's upper left side was bleeding.

"I told you....not to touch...them." I gasp at the sight of Augustus. I was happy almost for a second till he collapsed on the floor, sending the gun skitting through the floor.

"Augustus!" I heard Clary yell. I helped her up towards his limp body. She sat down letting go of a few groans or sighs from her side. She put his head on her lap.

"Augustus..please don't go. I need you." She felt like crying. He reaches for her cheek. "It's.....ok Clary....You have Jace...and a family...to look after." I sigh leaning closer. "And Jace?" I kneel, "Hm?" He looks at me, "Promise me...you won't abandon her....like I did. Don't let her go." I smile, "I promise." Then his eyes close for good. I quickly check for a pulse, nothing. I look at Clary and she shakes her head vigorously.

"No. No! Augustus, please! Don't go, please, I need you." She then starts to cry and so does Izzy. I comfort Clary while she weeps. "It's ok Clary. He sacrificed his life for you. He wanted to die knowing that he some how redeemed himself. And he did." I smile to myself and Clary finally stops crying.

I almost forgot that we had Sebastian here too. I check for a heart beat, "I think he's-" baboom baboom. A heart beat. I look at him but no signs that he will wake up.

"W what is it, J Jace?" asks Clary through tears. I sigh and stand up, "It seems he's still alive, but not waking up any time soon." Izzy growls, "So you're saying that that bastard isn't dead but in a stasis coma. You won't die will you!" Clary gets up, "What are we gonna do now?" I look around.

"We're going home." I stated.

Another chapter another day. I think I'm almost done with this story:( A few more chapters, like maybe two, then the epilogue. Tell me if you would like a sequel to Undeniable Love. It will really suck leaving this story.
