That goopy bastard... I'm almost positive he wanted this. He wanted to ruin my life, he just chose to hide behind the facade of him being a 'good guy' wanting to 'help me' with Frisk. I bet Frisk was never even truly in danger. I mean he did say Frisk was with Papyrus... hell even with Undyne and Undyne was a bad guy turned good, thanks to Frisk's actions! Honestly, I'm sure Frisk would be fine as long as she stayed by Papyrus's side.

Gah... What's goop dude's game...

He's Sans and Papyrus's dad sooo... maybe he doesn't like me around his kids? Or maybe he just doesn't like humans. Honestly, that man is an enigma. He essentially tried to help me but at the same time... he really didn't need to. The situation was handling itself and he didn't even need to summon me to the void in the first place, so why summon me? What exactly is he plotting for me?

Plus, I feel like there's a deeper reason as to why he doesn't want me to tell Sans about him. Maybe Sans doesn't like him and knows he's bad news? Maybe goop dude was actually being honest with me? At this point, I don't believe a damn thing goop dude has to say. I don't care what goop dude does to me, he's essentially killing me right now I'm sure of it. I'm gonna tell Sans about him and see what he has to say about this.

Then again, what is Alphys telling Sans right now? Am I going to actually die, consumed by whatever this black goo is? Goop dude would probably laugh... then again he did say "... Sans... he loves you... and if he were to see you in unbelievable amounts of sadness there's no telling what he'd do. I wanted to help you so I could help him and everyone around him."

...For some reason I fell like he might be a caring dad... on the other hand I feel like he's a big fat liar.

Ugh... if I ever get summoned to the void again that dude's going to have hell to pay that's all I can really say on this. Everything else is just so unsure, all I know is I don't trust him.

The sound of Sans's voice knocked you out of your thoughts.

Sans's POV (while you monologue)

Alphys and I stepped out of the lab from where (y/n) and I entered so we could talk in private. "alphys, what the fuck is wrong with (y/n)?!" I asked my anger on this situation evident in my voice.

"I-I honestly d-don't know, Sans, I've n-never seen anything like this before. But I do have one b-big concern," she said making me raise a brow.

"well, what is it?" I asked wanting to know all I can. 

"I-I fear she is... f-falling down..." She said making my eyes grow wide.

"n-no... sh-she can't be... alphys she can't!" I exclaimed in disbelief as I gripped her shoulders. "alph, you have to do something, i can't lose her!" I said panic in my voice. Alphys began to shake and sweat out of pure nervousness and fear.

"I-I'll try e-everything, I can S-Sans, b-but I-I'll need her to stay at the lab f-for a while, and I-I don't know how l-long that will b-be," she said her nerves apt in her voice.

"of course," I said releasing her. "sorry, i'm just really worried about (y/n)... can i at least stay with her and make sure she's alright?" I asked hopeful that I'll be able to stay with (Y/n) in her time of need.

"O-Of course... but if I-I need you to leave y-you'll have to comply. I-I don't know how b-bad she can be," she told me merely making me nod my head in response. "I-I'll also let you know when you can come back, al-alright? I-I'll send you a t-text or something," Alphys said trying to assure me in this situation that I won't just have to stay away from (Y/n).

"alight... thanks alph... for being a big help," I said as I rested a hand on her shoulder.

"I-It's not a pr-problem, anything for a fr-friend," Alphys said making a small smile form on my face. "N-Now I'll need you to h-help me bring (Y/n) down to the tr-true lab," she said making me nod my head.

"lead the way i suppose," I said as we began to walk back inside to (Y/n). She remained on the couch being deep in thought and appearing frustrated. I wondered what she was thinking about, but considering the situation and the look on her face, I knew it probably wasn't good. "heya sweetheart," I said knocking her out of her thoughts.

Your POV

You hummed not realizing what Sans has said. "Sorry, what did you say?" You asked as you looked up at him.

"i just said hey... but are you alright? you seemed to be in deep thought?" He asked you with concern as he placed a hand on your back.

"Oh, y-yeah I'm fine, just worried about my soul you know..." you said while scratching your neck with nerves.

"aight but don't you worry about it too much, alphys'll take care of you i'm sure," he said trying to ease your concerns as he placed a small smile on his face. You smiled back but nothing was quite eased, I mean... no one has seen something like this before... why should I have hope about this... you thought to yourself as you feared your situation. Sans took notice however as he picked you up bridal style. Sans then nodded to Alphys and she proceeded to walk him falling behind. "look, i know this is scary, but alphys is gonna run some tests, keep an eye on you, and all that good stuff. plus, i'll always be there when i can. if alphys needs me to leave, then i gotta for your own good. we're not just gonna give up on whatever this thing is (y/n). the kid needs you, we need you... i need you," He said bringing a weak smile to your face. You then placed a hand on his cheekbone as you pulled him in for a kiss making him stop walking.

Once you pulled away you began to speak, "I'm not gonna go anywhere, Sans. As long as I have whatever this is I'll stay determined for everyone, especially you," you told him making a small yet genuine smile appear on his face.

"thanks, sweetheart," he said as he proceeded to follow Alphys into what appeared to be an elevator to which she patiently held open.

You then snuggled into the crook of his neck and told him, "no problem." Alphys then proceeded to hit a button on the elevator taking the party deeper into the lab.
