Your POV

All you felt was numb after the shot Alphys gave you. You laid against the pillow, head tilted to the side and mouth ajar, as you watched Alphys and Sans communicate with each other; though, your vision was fuzzy, dark and you couldn't exactly process what they were saying. Damn... what did Alphys... give me? You thought to yourself finding it difficult to concentrate.

You shifted your gaze down to your form, and you made an attempt to move your arms but couldn't find the strength to and gave up. You then looked back up to Alphys and Sans as they both began to approach you. Your eyes felt watery and you could feel yourself drooling; under normal circumstances, you would've felt self-conscious but these were not normal circumstances.

Alphys was then directly at your side gazing at your eyes as you looked to meet hers. "(Y-Y/n)... can you h-hear me?" She asked full of worry. Unable to find the right words to speak, you made a simple grunting noise. "A-Ah... O-Okay, g-good." Alphys said clearly in disbelief as to your reaction.

"alph, what the hell did you give her?" Sans asked clearly concerned.

"I-I gave her a s-simple lidocaine injection!" Alphys said growing defensive. "G-Granted, c-considering the situation I gave h-her a h-heftier dosage... a-and it was infused with m-magic for i-immediate spread to the rest of her body..." Alphys said making you 'Ah' internally.

"well... is she going to be ok?" Sans asked still not a hundred percent on the situation at hand, not that you don't blame him.

"O-Of course, th-the injection w-won't affect her health, she's j-just going to be numb f-for a while," Alphys explained making you groan.

Sans chuckled slightly at that but then became serious again, "so uh... the examination?"

"Y-Yes, the examination," She proceeded, "actually I-I don't know h-how we'd preform the examination with h-how her eyes are so glazed o-over..." Alphys said making you widen your eyes only slightly due to both your worry and that you were beyond exhausted. You had no idea what Sans's reaction was, but you could only assume it wasn't good. "(Y/n), c-can you try m-moving your fingers for me? C-Considering you're having d-difficulties communicating I-I'll need to figure out y-yes and no responses fr-from you somehow," Alphys explained making you focus solely on your right index finger. You were able to twitch it a bit before being able to move it up fully.
"Ok, g-good, now I'm g-gonna ask you some questions, tap twice for 'yes', tap once for 'somewhat' and don't tap for 'no', ready?" She asked making you tap twice.

"Ok, c-can you see?" She asked making you tap once seeing as your vision was obscured by what you could only assume was the black gunk making both Sans and Alphys concerned.

"A-Alright, we'll need to go into further examination later when sh-she isn't n-nearly as numb," Alphys explained making Sans nod his head in response.

"understandable, what should she do now?" Sans asked making Alphys rub her arms anxiously.

"H-Honestly, for this the o-only thing she could do i-is rest," Alphys said freaking Sans out.

"Her resting is what got us in this bullshit!" Sans exclaimed with frustration.

"I-I Know! B-But that's all that c-can be done!" Alphys exclaimed. The two proceeded to argue back and forth as to whether or not you should rest, but frankly, you didn't give a shit. Granted, you felt bad that they were fighting over your health, but you just knew you'd end up falling asleep anyway, there was just no stopping it.

You felt your eyes seal shut as if by concrete as you drifted off to a not so peaceful sleep.

Feeling lack of gravity around yourself, you squinted your eyes open only to see the endless black that is the void. "Please... for the love of God... make it stop..." you said knowing damn well Gaster was watching you suffer.
