hailey was annoyed by how loud joey was. his voice filled the room as he hiccups and cough and laughs. plus the loud thuds and crash when he stumbles and falls. but that didnt mean she didnt stayed.
hailey sigh as she tugged him to bed and helped him change his top only. bc she didnt want to invade his privacy.
after she tossed joey's dirty top which had stains of liquor on it, into a basket provided in the bathroom, she turned on the lamp and turned off the ceiling lights and jumped on the couch.
joey kept on making sentences with words that dont go along. like "pinky white toe" while he rolls around his bed.
hailey looked at him in amusement when he said those nonsense. usually she was the one that spoke things stupidly and also the one with dumb jokes. and joey was the one who would chuckle at her jokes and add funny lines to them.
fun fact: joey is the only one who actually find her jokes funny. jace, loren and aiden and the others would crack up fake laughs and wouldnt even understand.
hailey had drifted off to sleep. but joey wouldnt let her.
he kept mumbling stuff and wanted hailey to sleep with him. so she laid beside him bc she thought that'd make him stop with the noise he keeps on making and..
she was right.

-10.12pm.
i was comfortable but i couldnt sleep.
i turned and faced joey who was passed out. i slowly got out of bed, hoping i didnt make a noise and walked to his balcony.
i looked up at the stars that were fading away as clouds started to mass in. sigh.
i wanted to look at the stars...
then i felt arms slipping onto my waist. i looked up and saw joey who had very messy hair and a just-woken-up look. i then turned back to see the last few stars.
"sorry if i woke you up" i spoke and it came out as a whisper.
"im awake when the sun is awake" he said lowly.
i looked at joey, "its only 10pm"
he looked down at me and chuckled. i seriously have no clue what he meant. i looked at the stars again while i waited for him to explain and finally he spoke.
"i meant by you"
i turned my head and this time, i turned my body too and faced his and he began to speak.
"youre the light to my dark, gloomy life. youre my sunshine and always bright up my mood with just a smile and by.. calling my name. thats why i call you my 'sun' bc the sun is only there in the day. but you.... youre my sun every day and night"
i couldnt help but smile and blush.
i stared at his eyes then slowly down to his lips. i could feel him looking as i heard a chuckle coming out from his mouth. my cheeks heated up more.
i let out a deep breath and finally i kissed him.
he didnt hesitate to kiss back. as i could feel the taste of his lips, i knew i wanted more.
i then opened my mouth, letting his tongue explore my mouth.
soon enough, his tongue slipped into my mouth. shivers went down my spine as i taste the alcohol from his mouth.
i reached my hand up to his hair and deepened the kiss. he obeyed me and leaned closer.
he was abt to pull away but i stopped him.
we made out and he told me to jump. so i jumped and he gripped my hips and carried me, not breaking the kiss.
then he pushed me onto his bed then pulled away, biting my bottom lip.
we both pant as we finally parted away.
"im ready" i spoke. he looked at me and said, "are you sure?"
i smirked, "lets not avoid our desires and have the night to ourselves" and i kissed him again.
