"i dont feel like eating.." she replied, in a whisper voice.
she never says no to chocolate ice cream...
i exchanged looks with jace. his eyes stayed widen, goofily.
i roll my eyes at him.
"can i have your ice cream then?" blake ask.
hailey hands her chocolate ice cream then blake, childishly, grabs the ice cream and licks it.
"tOO tOO COLD" he screams crazily which caused the elders in the cafe, to look at him like hes cray-cray.
jace, aiden and i laughed at him.
"its been a while since we skipped school" i spoke.
jace rolls his eyes, "shut up, you skipped school like days ago"
hailey then takes out a thick book and writes something down quickly.
shes a quick writer. just a fact.
she writes sentences then a tear rolls down her cheek then falls on the page.
i grab a tissue and wipe the tears on her cheeks.
she looks at me then mouths, "i miss him"

"hails" i spoke and she turned around and looked at me while the guys were going around the mall.
she looked so dead. and so empty.
"lets talk.." i said which made her stop walking and let me walk beside her.
i could feel the coldness of her skin even though she was wearing a hoodie.
she didnt speak at all but her mind told me to speak.
"you know.. joey's not a bad guy..." i said.
"he broke my heart and i bet, other more girls, and youre not considering that bad?" she said, coldly.
"i mean... i know theres a reason why hes leaving and all" i said, which made her inhale and exhale a deep breath.
"he knows how much it'll break me when he told me to leave" she whispered.
"that doesnt mean he doesnt care" i say which made her bloodshot eyes meet mine.
"he doesnt care, lor. hes only luring me into his trap and i fell for it" she said.
"trust me, he does care, secretly. youre just too blind to see it" i say.
her lips slowly turned pouty, "have you ever seen him care?"
"yea, twice. while you were drunk" i replied with no hesitation.
her eyes widen.

"he saved your ass from falling to the ground, while you were drunk at the halloween party. and he saved your ass from getting fucked by brandon" i respond.
a small smile plasters on her face then sadness overwhelmed her again.
"i miss him, lor" she said.
"how abt.. you tell me all of abt you and joey. you dont have to tell me the personal or sad ones though.. just tell me abt jailey. my teacup is dry nowadays" i say which made her giggle.
