after that long ass weekend, lots of more peeps started to talk abt me behind my back.
"i'll see yall later" i say, leaving jace, loren and aiden's side.
"wait-" loren stops me.
"you always leave us during reccess, whats more important than eating and enjoying your time with your bestfriends?" she muttered.
"uh.. i- im actually quite busy" i say. i'd call myself a liar but this time i wasnt lying since it was true. im busy, tutoring joey.
jace and aiden nodded and excused themselves bc they got called by their football coach.
loren sighed, "atleast eat something. i know youve been skipping meals, hails. i changed you after the party"
i nod and looked at the floor.
"just... tell me what do you want? i'll buy you your food and i'll deliver it to you at..." she paused.
"at the library, just buy me a taco or something and meet at the front of the library. text me when youre there, okay?" i say, intensed. i wasnt in the mood to argue, she probably knew that bc she left me with a smile and walked to the cafeteria.
now... i have to tutor mr badboy.

"can you please cooperate with me, joey?" i ask. he was, once again, on his phone and ignoring me.
"operate my ass" he mumbled under his breath, just loud enough for me to hear.
i eyerolled.
i then got a text from loren, saying she was on her way with my food.
"i'll be right back" i excused myself and stood up. i then fell as i stepped on his untied shoelace.

i then hear a book, falling from a shelf. he probably heard it too. we both snapped out of it and i got off him. i heard the library door closed. did someone see us?
i left him there and ran out from the library.
i then bumped into loren who was infront of the library. she had her lips pursed against each other.
"heyyy" she says and gives me my food.
"hey" i replied and we both smiled at one another.
"see you later" she says and i walked back in the library while she walked to who knows where.
i went back to the table i tutor joey at and..
