i walked to the office and someone catch up with me. i then looked around to see joey, running to me.
i stopped as i wait for him. he puts his hand on my shoulder as he reached me.
"hey" i spoke as a smile urged on my face.
"hey" he pant as he pecked my lips.
we both then walked to the principal's office together.
i then knocked on the door.
"come in!" he mutter, loudly.
joey twisted the door knob and let me walk inside first. i then walked up to the principal as joey closed the door and walked with me too.
"sit down" the principal said, motioning us both to sit down.
i sit down infront of him along with joey at the seats provided.
i didnt really wanna know. i felt like i had a huge lump on my throat. i felt like i did something wrong when i looked at the principal's face.
"ive heard that.... you" he looked at me as he spoke. "and joey.." he looked at joey then.
"are being lovey dovey... and i assume... a couple" the principal then scratch the back of his neck.
i looked at joey and he looked back at me. as we made eye contact, the principal then spoke again.
"im happy for the both of you for um.. being in a relationship instead of uh.. be just a stranger to one another and all..." he then trailed off and took a paper out of a drawer.
"thank you, hailey, for doing your part in helping joey with history and biology" he coughed then showed us a paper.
it was joey's... history test.
joey still had a stoned bitch face and kept looking on the ground and avoiding eye contact with the principal and i.
i looked at joey's test and it was a,

i then looked at the principal, "whats wrong with b+?"
joey then looked up and looks at the test as he heard what i said.
the principal fiddles with his fingers as he thought of what he should say.
"cant you just tell us, already?" joey snapped.
the principal cleared his throat, "ive found a new tutor for you, joey. i dont want you getting distracted in your studies. yes, youve improved from F to B+ and im proud of you. and uh... hailey has helped you alot. but i didnt think that the both of you would have any... lovey dovey thing going on. so due to that and bc.. hailey has done her part, i have a new tutor for you, joey. i gurantee he will help you improve more"
he then spoke to his phone thing on the table, "call him in"
