i walk in my first period with my head down. i walked to my seat and sat down.
the teacher wasnt here yet and students were gathering around at one anothers' places.
i sigh. thank god i dont have calculus with hailey... i got lost in my thought then out of blue, this guy who sat behind me talked to me.
"what'd she say?"
i stayed silent for a while before looking up and face him.
"she said she'll think abt it" i spoke then looked down. i didnt really expect that answer.. i thought maybe she'd say yes.. guess, im just high on my expectations.
"bro, dont be upset! atleast she didnt reject you right away!" he said. i turn my head and face him and mutter, "what do you mean?"
he then chuckle lowly before sitting down at the empty seat beside me then pats my back.
"she wanted time to think so theres a chance she'll accept you" he said.
"you really think that?" i ask. "mhm" he hum in respond. i quickly zoned out and looked at him, "whats your name and tell me few things between you and hailey" i sounded protective.
"the name's blake gray. ive known her in 5th grade and she... she rejected me twice"
my eyes widen, "youre the guy who used to be obsessed with hailey?"
he scoffs, "obsessed? im offended but thats sorta true... but... i wouldnt say i used to"
my eyes widen again. "stop doing that, it creeps me out" he chuckled.
"sorry- anyways- you have a crush on her? still?"
"its hard to move on" he said, looking down.
"yea..." i mutter, lowly. "sadly i feel like she likes birlem"
he then scoffs again, "guess we're not the only ones fighting for her"
"please dont tell me theres alot more guys who likes her" i said.
"i wouldnt be shook if theres more guys or girls who likes her" he spoke, sounding upset.
"man, we really need to get to know each other more" i said, helding a fist for him to fist bump.
"yea" he fist bumped.
"but! we cant let this crush thing with hailey against our friendship" he said.
"im cool with that" i spoke as i nod then the teacher walks in.

"dude where are you going?" blake ask. "tutoring the school's douchebag" i replied, eyerolling.
"come back alive bro" he said, laughing before walking away to the cafeteria.
i chuckled then walked to the library then i saw joey.
he takes a glance at me then said, "lets get this over with" then stands up.
"where are you going?" i question.
