after having a good talk with his same aged friends, catching up on what they've been doing recently and also talking about old memories, it was time for them to separate.
with one last hug, jeon jungkook finally said goodbye to the three of them.
and off he went, to find kim yerim.

jeon jungkook and kim yerim ended on a bad note about a year ago.
they got into a heated argument concerning a sensitive topic for yerim, who was extremely stressed out by other aspects of her life at that moment, and so she decided to call things off.
jungkook still remembers their last bits of their conversation as if it just happened yesterday.
" you know what? " yerim said with a sigh.
" this isn't making me happy. "
" clearly, we just spent the past hour screaming at each other. that totally seems like a fun thing to do. " jungkook replied, his words laced with sarcasm.
" i've been having this idea for a while now, and i think it's best for us. " yerim spoke, after thinking about it for a few moments.
" let's end our relationship here. goodbye for real, jeon jungkook. please don't contact me ever again. "
and with that, she turned and walked away.
since then, yerim blocked off all forms of communication with him - his number, and on all the various social media platforms.
she truly was not kidding about not wanting to be in contact with him ever again.
regardless, jungkook was determined to talk to her, at least for the very last time. over the past year, he would be lying if he said he didn't spend nights lying awake in bed, staring into space while thinking about what he could have done differently so that yerim would still be by his side.
even though a year had passed, jungkook still had a lot to say to her, and he figured that it would be nice for him to have some closure before he left for good.
perhaps they could even relive memories of the past, of their 4 year long relationship. that would definitely make him happy in his last hours.

walking down the street, jungkook started thinking. how should he even start on trying to find her?
