New beginnings

"Ruhi beta..have you eaten your breakfast,have your breakfast or you will be late"said Ruhi's grandmother from the kitchen.

"Yes Nani( grandmother) coming.." said Ruhi.

Ruhi was a 21 year old girl who just finished her college and today was her first day at work ..she got a job at "Malhotra Enterprise" as an  assistant accountant..

Today was the  new phase of her life ..She decided to be the new and tough  girl and to work whole heartedly to prove herself to the people

After having breakfast she took the blessings of her nani and said "Nani I will be back till evening have your food and medicines at time and rest properly"

"I will "beta"..you also take care of yourself don't strain yourself too much and come home soon before dark . My blessings are always with you .

"Oh I see the bad omen stepping out of the house , which company did you joined ..what was the name ..? "Malhotra Enterprise" yes yes..now I remember , I pray for that company doesn't become insolvent because you are going to join that " said Ranjeet Mama..Ruhi's maternal  uncle in his rude and mocking tone.

His voice made Ruhi nervous and scared ..she always used to be scared and hurted by her uncle because he accused her for killing her sister and her husband . He always thought that all the bad things happening in the house is because of Ruhi. That little girl has been accused everyday since she was 8.

"Don't you have any shame Ranjit..if you can't give her your blessings or some encouraging words on her first day at work , then don't curse her .".said Nani.

"Whatever you say Ma ..this girl has always bought omen to this house..first her parents ,then my son this girl is not worth my blessings"

"How did Ruhi bought  any kind of misfortune to your son ..he himself was careless in studies even today he is wasting your money in London where he only lives casanova life"

"You can't talk rubbish about my son Ma!!" Said Ranjit in his loud voice

" Enough both of you ..Please I request ..Iam sorry mamaji it's all my fault please forgive me and nani you go to your room have some rest it's not good for your health. I'll take the leave " Ruhi said in her dejected voice.

It was her habit to listen the cruel words of her mamaji daily . She used to cry herself everyday because of this. Taking a deep long breath she took a leave from the house toward Malhotra Enterprise..!

Nani knew that she has assembled herself together somehow but within she was a broken soul . Nani also knew that  She used to cry herself in  the room alone.

Nani thought of getting Ruhi married to an eligible guy before her death so that her granddaughter can live a secure life after her . Little did Ruhi knew that the hunt for her eligible man has been started by her Nani.
