"Nani..Nani..are you okay ..??" Suddenly Ruhi ran towards her Nani seeing her sitting down breathing deeply. Ramila ji was also tensed watching her condition.
"Should I take you to hospital Nani ??" Ruhi asked Nani . She really was very worried seeing her Nani's condition.
"No..no Ruhi I am fine .. I am okay , beta"
Nani knew her condition these temporary chronic coughs were because of her cancer. Her lungs were getting weak day by day and she couldn't do anything about that .
But before anything happens to her she wanted to be happy to get her married to man who can protect her precious gem, who will be there beside her ,no matter what.
Maybe that man was standing right in front of her.
"Okay, Nani..as you say let's go home and you please have some rest"
"I'll call the auto..just sit here."Ruhi said .
"Miss Ruhi , I think you should sit my car , I'll drop you both home. Your Nani's condition is not good". Said Vikrant ..he didn't like that a sick elderly lady and the girl going home all by themselves ..when he can easily drop them at their place.
"No, sir we can manage". Said Ruhi ,she didn't want to bother him.
"Please, miss Ruhi ..I insist. She is not well".
"Yes , Ruhi beta you should come with us." Said Ramila ji
Ruhi hesitated a bit but agreed at last
"Okay.." said Ruhi in a low voice .
They both sat in the car . And Vikrant drove towards their home.
"Thank you , sir for your help". "Thank you, aunty ji" Ruhi thanked Ramila and Vikrant.
"You are welcome , miss Ruhi " "are you okay auntyji" asked Vikrant to Pushplata ji.
" I am fine beta, nothing has happened to me .. I just used to get these coughs..what to do.. this old age is not going easy on me"
Ramila ji interrupted in between and said "Arey what old..age you are still very healthy , well, you need complete rest but if your health is okay tomorrow , I invite you at our place.. it's Sunday so they both will also have their holidays . So Ruhi beta if you Nani is okay .. come tomorrow at our place for lunch.. I insist."
Vikrant felt a bit awkward at having a thought of having Ruhi at lunch at his place . "I hope Dadi is not thinking something weird " he thought to himself. Because he knew his dadi.
"Aunty ji I mean.. thank you for your invitation but Nani's condi..tion.."
Nani interrupted Ruhi and said," sure,sure we will come tomorrow.. I am all okay"
"But Nani you are not well,"Ruhi was still unaware of her nani's plan.
Well ,not plan but according to Pushplata ji she needed to do this for Ruhi.
"I am very well, you don't tell me I know my body" "
"We will come surely ..Ramila"
Ruhi huffed at her nani's stubbornness.
"We will , wait.." said Ramila waving at both of them . "Chale Viku beta..?"
"Yes...Dadi "
IN THE CAR
" Viku , how is This girl Ruhi...? Dadi asked Vikrant wiggling her eyebrows.
At the same time. IN THE ROOM at Ruhi's place
"Ruhi, how is Vikrant..do you like him?"
"Whaaat?" Came both of their same replies simultaneously...
