"Ruhi , beta what happened are you okay ..did everything go well ?" Nani asked

"Yes, Nani ." Ruhi said nervously

"Do you like Vikrant?" Nani asked

"No Nani,it's not about liking him, he is way beyond my status , he deserves someone smart and successful not me who is still a beginner."

" Ruhi that is not a problem . I know Vikrant and his family is not someone who will judge you by your status , Ramila has assured me of that ." " Is there any other reason . Did Vikrant tell you anything?"

"No, Nani he didn't say anything.." Ruhi lied .

"Then what's the problem . There is no hurry you both can meet again . Take your time " Ruhi knew there is no point convincing Nani .

"I don't like him Nani." Ruhi had no other option left .

"What?"

"Y..yes I don't like him "

"I don't think he is a person whom you can reject . He is successful, good looking, respects his elder, respects his work ..what else is needed..?"

" Still I don't like him."

"May I know the reason?" "Does he have a girlfriend?"

"Oh God Nani ..!! No ..I don't like him because..be.. cause " Ruhi stared to think of a reason " because he is my boss!" Ruhi blurted out.

"So ? So what if he is your boss , he is a good guy" Nani stated .

"Nani you don't understand . I respect him as a person I can't accept him as my husband.!" Ruhi said .

"Okay ..if that is what you want , I won't force you . Tomorrow I will call Ramila and tell her that you are not ready .." saying that she went to her room without glancing at Ruhi.

I am sorry Nani . I hope you understand.

It was almost 10 pm . Ruhi went to her Nani's room to give her the medicines.

She heard Nani talking on a phone with someone. Ruhi thought it was Vikrant's dadi's phone . So she started to eavesdrop.

"I know Dr Bhardwaj I have very less time, no Ruhi didn't agree to  marry . I still think Vikrant is perfect for her . But I won't force her . I think I have to die before I see her get married I don't have much time left ."

D..die..who is dying ??..Nani ..?? . N.
No .no ..I guess I've heard it wrong . Ruhi was standing there Frozen on her spot ..tears running down her cheeks .

"I think I won't see my Ruhi getting married . There are few months left Bhardwaj. What will happen to my daughter .. she lost her parents and now me . How will my little girl survive . She need someone to cry on to rely upon she won't be able to hold herself together" Nani said sobbing .

Ruhi heard her Nani and she thought that her world has stopped . It was all okay till yesterday .. all of a sudden this news broke her world apart . She never thought that she will lose her Nani. She closed her eyes thinking it of a bad nightmare.She cried bitterly keeping her hands on her mouth so that Nani won't hear her . It was like all the air has been pumped off her lungs .

I really feel bad for Ruhi and nani.🙁

So it begins...so the real story starts from now ..let's see how will Ruhi handle the situation. What will be her decision . Will Nani really die without getting Ruhi married or will Ruhi agree to the marriage or will something else happen? Keep guessing .

I think I updated 4 chapters today ..well I wanted to get over with the boring chapters . Plus I completed writing this yesterday . Now I have lots and assignments and work to do but I will still try to update at least one chapter a day .
