"Vikrant, there is a minor issue in the final accounts of mhadik corporation accounts" said Nikhil Viktant's assistant and a good friend of his.
"Nikhil,why are you telling me this ..tell the accounts department to handle the situation.."
"Vikrant even the accounts department cannot rectify it"
Vikrant got pissed at this
" What kind of people have we placed in our company can't even handle a simple account ..let me check''
Vikrant analysed the file acutely but he was also unable to find the error in the accounts..
Suddenly Nikhil came in the cabin and said .."Vikrant the problem has been solved ..phew..that girl came at the right time and managed to rectify the error..
Vikrant looked at the file for the last time to find the mistake but failed ..
"And who is this girl?"
"That new employee ..what is her name, Reena...Ritu..??"" Ruhi..yes..yes..Ruhi .."Nikhil said
"Ruhi..hmm..Ruhi Verma..yes I met that girl few days back.."
" Do one thing Nikhil send her to my cabin.."
Nikhil gave him a puzzled look ..
"What ? Don't give me that look ..I just wanted to ask her about the rectification.."
"Oh..! My God..even you can't find the solution ..the CEO of the biggest finance company could not find the rectification of the error.."
"Ho gyi bakwass ?( done with your nonsense? ) I know the solution I just wanted to confirm ..send that girl..do as you are said.. I am your boss .."
"Ok boss!!" Nikhil said with a solute and went towards accounts department..
"Ok..miss Ruhi.. Vikrant sir is calling you in his office .."
"W..what..m.mee ? Why me.? D.did I do s..something wrong..? "Ruhi asked stuttering
Nikhil was amused to see her reaction ...he pushed back a smile and thought to make things more funny .." Hmm..I don't know he didn't looked very happy I think there is some mistakes done in the accounts , you should go and meet him he is waiting for you..and he doesn't like to wait for anybody" said Nikhil trying to sound serious.
"O..ohh..o..okay..I.Ill g..go.." she was so nervous to meet the boss . What if he fires her ...no ..no..she can't lose this job..this was her dream job...she has to earn for her , for her Nani..
She went slowly towards his cabin..her legs shaking at each step..she opened the doors with shivering hands..and said.." m..may .I ..come ..in s..sir".
Vikrant got startled by her sudden and shaky voice her condition was as if she will collapse any moment..he gave her a confused look and she got scared.
" Miss Ruhi are you okay .." ?
"Y..yess sir .." there were beads of sweat on her forehead.
"I mean you don't seem okay ..do you need some water ?"
"N.no. sir .." Ruhi said and took a deep breath and continued ," Please don't fire me. .I..I really need this ..job sir ..I have worked very hard for this job. .I can't lose this job it's very important for me sir .. p..please give me last chance sir I will prove myself ..I won't give you any chance to complain..I ..I prom.."Ruhi kept on blabbering..
"Hey ..hey ...relax ... please relax miss Ruhi...have some water ..here" Vikrant said pouring her a glass of water he was amused by the way she reacted he didn't expected her to be this nervous ..."N.no sir iam f..fine"
Said Ruhi..
"It's okay please have it " Vikrant handed her the glass of water and she gulped it down in one go ...
" You ok??"
"Yes sir"
"Sure"
"Sir I made the mistake I know ..I will try to improve the next time ..I ..I"
"Okay...miss Ruhi..nobody is firing you " said Vikrant in a calm voice .
"Really!!" Ruhi asked in an inaudible voice but Vikrant heard her .
" Yes ,really ..and who said that I am going to fire you..?"
"T..That Nikhil..sir said ...that you were angry and d.. didn't looked happy"
"Nikhil...Oh God ...He is such an asshole" Vikrant cursed under his breath.
"Oh..Nikhil ..he was just fooling around with you it's his habit , don't take him seriously.."
Ruhi's expression changed from confused to amused to happy to anger..
Vikrant chuckled looking at her...
" Miss Ruhi..?
"Y..yes sir!"
" Thank you"
"W.what?"
