Bad Omen

Today was saturday so Ruhi was at home studying and analysing and studying her accounts work. Nani was at Satsang so she decided to help her aunt in the kitchen.

KITCHEN 

"Mami, you need some help? I can make rotis till you prepare the curry" Ruhi said to Prerna her Maternal aunt..

"No need..!" shouted her aunt. Ruhi flinched at her voice."We don't want to die eating your food,being the bad omen you are anything can happen to us. How many times do I have to tell you don't come near us when iam cooking or eating . Anything can happen to us I cant risk either mine or my husband's life.So please get out of my sight . 

Ruhi flinched at her harsh tone and heart wrenching  words . She went to her room and sat at the far end corner near the window.
she was used to her mami's rude behaviour she always used to call her omen since she was a little  girl and did not even knew the meaning of the word bad omen . The death of her parents was so tragic for her, she didn't have her mom to feed her daal-chawal  and her dad to bring her barbie dolls on top of that her aunt and uncle used to accuse her everyday for her parents death. Her cousin brother Sarthak who was 4 years elder to her also told everyone at school that she was manhoos  and  anybody who will talk to her will also face bad omen in their life.

 Ruhi had no friends in school.She made some good friends in college but they also left her one by one except Naseema her best friend who was her only friend she was like sister to her . They met at the first day of college and from that day till today she became best of friends . Naseema was a fashion designer at Mumbai she always wanted to do that . So right now Ruhi had no one to share her sadness with. She took a deep breath and waited for her Nani to come back.

SATSANG ROOM 

Pushplata Ji entered the satsang room the next day she found Ramila talking to her friends. She went near her and said,"Namastey,behenji,remember me I wanted to thank you for yesterday . Iam highly obliged otherwise nowdays nobody is there to help one another ."

"You are welcome, it was my duty to help you please don't thank me" said Ramila.

 "you can come to my house to have some tea and snacks ,as you have seen I don't live far from here , you can come I wanted to thank you for yesterday..this is the least I can do.."
"Please don't say no, i request"

"Okay,if you say so ..I hope i'm not being a trouble"said Ramila
"Ofcouse not,please come"


RUHI'S HOUSE

"Ruhi beta...!!! mai aagyi (iam back) Nani said . Ruhi came out of her room hearing Nani's voice.

Ruhi saw her Nani with the lady same age as her Nani coming towards her ..

"Namastey auntyji" Ruhi said touching Ramila's feet .

"God bless you my child" said Ramila

" this  is my grandchild , Ruhi.." "and Ruhi this is Ramila ji , the lady who dropped me home yesterday " said Nani smiling .

"Thankyou so much Auntyji. Please sit down I'll bring tea for you ."

after 15 minutes

 Ruhi brought tea and snacks for the ladies..

"So, beta Ruhi what do you do?" asked Ramila

"Auntyji i have completed my graduation in commerce at right now I am working at Malhotra Enterprise as an assistsant accountant"

"Oh Really??!!" asked Ramila excitedly . "I hope my grandson is treating you nicely and not burdening you with loads of work" asked Ramila playfully . 

 Ramila chuckled looking at Ruhi's and Pushplata's faces .

"Yes your boss Vikrant Malhotra is my grandson.." " I hope my  grandson is being good to you"

Ruhi was in shock that his Boss's grandmother was having tea at her house.

"y..yess h.he i.i mean ..s.ssir is ..g..good ..w.with m..mee"..stuttered Ruhi.

" Oh poor girl ..look at her face ..dont be scared.. Vikrant looks dangerous in reality he is very nice".

"yes he sure is..we didn't had much interaction "

They all had a great time discussing about each other.

"Now i should take leave , its getting late... I will meet you at Satsang Pramila ji. take care Ruhi beta   " said  Ramila

"Namastey Auntyji,please come again" said Ruhi.

"let me know if Vikrant troubles you" Ramila said smiling.

Ruhi smiled nervously.
