Ruhi went to her room that night . And cried her eyes out . She was so sad and now there was no one whom she can share her problems with . She felt like a burden on Vikrant's shoulders and she hated herself for that . She knew that she cannot tell the reason behind this marriage to Vikrant as he won't listen to her . So she decided to not tell him about that . Also she understood that Vikrant doesn't want the world to know about their marriage so she will also keep quite and not tell anyone about it .
She told Dr Bhardawaj to keep her updated about nani's condition.
She tried to sleep . But sleep was far away from her eyes . She was thinking about the turn of events that took place in such short span of time.
But she was thinking about Vikrant . He was now her husband . But what will be the future of their relationship. Will he ever accept her as his wife? Of course No . She left everything on fate .
She recited a small prayer and tried to sleep. She has to report at 8 am . And she had to do this job.
VIKRANT'S ROOM .
Vikrant was deep in his thoughts. He was angry , so angry that he wanted to destroy everything.
You messed up with a wrong person Ruhi . This won't be easy for you. Your intentions will never be fulfilled. Yes we are married because our families wanted us to but I cannot accept you as my wife .
But little did he knew that Ruhi's life was already a mess .
NEXT MORNING.
Ruhi woke up at 7 am .
"Shit , I am so late !!" Ruhi spoke to herself . She had to reach her office at 8. She went for her morning routine. Took a bath and offered her prayers.
She glanced herself one last time in the mirror . She was married . Yet she didn't looked like a married women .
In hindu culture , a women who are married are supposed to apply sindoor( Vermillion) on their forehead and tie mangalsootr ( sacred chain ) around their neck . But she can't show the world that she is married .
So she took a pinch of Vermillion and applied a small amount of it at the side of her partition and covered it with her hairs . So that it was hidden.
Ruhi came down from her room at looked at the kitchen . She saw a middle aged women working something .
"Namestey , Aunty good morning" Ruhi wished .
"Ruhi !!" Anita aunty said excitedly "good morning beta"
Anita aunty was a middle aged women who was Malhotra family's cook who has worked for them since years .
"You must be Anita aunty Vikrant told me yesterday"
"Yes , I am Anita . I cook for Vikrant . I still don't believe he got married . And you are so beautiful. God bless you my child "
Ruhi smiled at her and said . " It's nice meeting you too aunty . "
"Okay , now tell me what do you want to eat . I will make it quickly " Anita asked
Ruhi felt awkward at eat . She got a bit conscious . She felt like an outsider . Also she doesn't want to disappoint Anita aunty .
"I will make myself a cup of tea. Would you like some aunty?" Ruhi asked .
"Tea, is that what you will have for breakfast.? Just sit I will make something for you"
" No , no aunty trust me I will just have a cup of tea . I am getting late also " Ruhi told .
She had her cup of tea and left .

She had a lots of work to do in the office. All the pending works plus and client calls all has to be done by her . She was engrossed in her work , suddenly there was silence everywhere . She peeped through her computer and saw Vikrant entering the office . He wore his usual arrogant look at his face .
After some time Ruhi got some more piles of file to work .
"What is this ? " Ruhi asked the worker .
"Vikrant sir has told you check these files too" the worker said .
"Okay" Ruhi said . She already had lots of work to do now she has even more . But she had the deadline of today so she anyhow has to complete it today.
She was working excessively to the point of exhaustion . But it didn't mattered to her . It was break time and everyone went for their lunch but Ruhi was working . She was hungry but she had loads of work .
Vikrant tried to spot Ruhi during the break time but he couldn't see her . He knew that she must be working .
Won't she have her lunch .!?
How does it matter to me if she eats or not. ...

It was around 8 pm and Ruhi was still working she had a chocolate bar in between and that was what she ate in the whole day . She was beyond exhausted . She just wanted to sleep.
Around 9 pm she was almost done with the work. So she decided to leave . Half of the staff went to their homes . And Vikrant was also not seen . He also probably went home .
Ruhi took a bus and it took around 15 minutes from the bus stop to reach the penthouse . It was already 10:30 .
She entered the house . Everything was silent. She remembered the time when she used to come back from office and her Nani would be waiting for her for dinner . And now there was no one . She didn't have proper food since morning . She was so hungry .
"Ruhi .. Why are you so late, beta?" Asked Anita aunty in a concerned voice .
Ruhi turned back and saw Anita aunty standing by the stairs.
"Namestey Aunty.. actually I had lots of work in the office !" Ruhi said
"Did you eat anything ? You look so tired ."
"No..no aunty I am not hungry ..I should go and sleep "
"You should not sleep without having food . I made some dinner just sit and have some I let you go in the morning without having anything. But i am not letting you go now. Sit and have dinner I am not taking no for an answer "
Ruhi nodded and sat down. At least she had someone whom she can talk .
Ruhi was standing in the kitchen and watched Anita aunty work . She thought about Vikrant and asked.
"Aunty did he had his dinner ?" Ruhi asked .
Anita smiled at her question and said ," Yes he had some rice . Actually he was asking about you . But you came late ."
He asked about me .. Ruhi thought
"Ruhi beta .. Vikrant might look very rude and arrogant but he is a very sweet boy . Your marriage has been in a haste . Just give him some . He will be okay ."
"Ji aunty .." Ruhi knew that both she and Vikrant can never share that bond of husband and wife .
In his room Vikrant was thinking about Ruhi whether she came back or not . He left his room and saw her having her dinner talking with Anita aunty . She still seemed so different from others . Or was she putting up an act . He still doesn't know .
