It's been more than a week since their marriage . But both of their routines were usual. Ruhi used to go to the office before Vikrant and used to come back after him . She sometimes used to work overtime for extra bonus . As her Nani's condition was not not good . And her medicines were too costly . She used to pay for her medicines and told Dr Bhardawaj to not reveal  this to Nani . In short she worked day and night like a machine .

Vikrant had noticed all these things . And he was sometimes worried for her that she is overworking herself . But his ego was too high to tell her to stop working and rest for sometime .

That day it was raining heavily. Ruhi was waiting for the rain to stop to go home but it was raining heavily after each passing time . So she decided to leave the office and go home. She didn't even carry umbrella with her .

She was walking In the rain and stopped near the bus stop . But there was no sign of bus or auto and the roads were also empty . And it was getting chilly outside . At last she knew that she will not get a transport  so she decided to walk back home .

That day Vikrant had some extra work to do so he stayed back at office.
He looked out of window and saw that it was raining really heavily . He looked at the clock and saw that it was 9:30 pm. The first thing which came in her mind was Ruhi. He went to check on her in the computers room but she was not there.

Where is she? Is she okay?

He took his car and drove towards his home . He was driving for few minutes when he saw a familiar figure walking in the rain . He squinted his eyes for a better look .

It was Ruhi .

She was walking her way back home in that heavy rain . It was raining so heavily yet she was walking doing nothing about the situation.

He halted his car near . Ruhi got scared , she thought that somebody came to kidnap her . It was really dark and there was not a single human being on the road .

Vikrant pulled down the window of the car revealing himself.

Ruhi took a sigh of relief looking at him . She was also embarrassed at the same time as she was so helpless . She didn't wanted him to look her at in this condition .

He looked at her . She looked so vulnerable walking in that heavy rain alone in the night.  It was quite cold due to the rain and she was drenched fully in the rain  shivering and  wrapping her arms around herself . Her lips quivering with cold .

"Sit" he ordered.

She looked at him . He looked quite angry. Maybe he is angry because I am being a pile on. I can manage without him . I don't need his help

"I can manage sir .. you go ..I will take the bus..." she said in her quivering voice .

Is this girl kidding me Vikrant thought

"Yeah ...sure the bus is on its way..." He said mockingly as if he himself is searching for a bus in the front . Ruhi said nothing

"Get in the car Ruhi ..." He said in a bit loud voice.  He was getting angry at himself seeing her condition.

At last he got down the car , held her hands and made her sit on the passenger side . He himself getting drenched in the process.

He looked at her she was drenched and shivering . He turned the AC off and took his jacket and wrapped it around  her . He then started off the engine to go.
Ruhi was looking at him intently..
When  did he become so caring ...
