MADISON'S POV

I rush over to the door and see the boys are interrogating James. They just had to, didn't they?

"Bye boys" I slip past them and out of the door, shutting it and grabbing James by the arm."I'm sorry about them, don't worry they won't do anything." I reassure him and he nods, looking like his demeanor has changed completely. He seems much happier now that he doesn't have to talk to them.

We walk through the streets hand in hand for a while, occasionally noticing the paps trying to be sneaky around us but we just laugh at them, sharing little kisses now and then. We come up to the beach and I smile, but I don't have a bathing suit and or a towel so I frown.

"I got you." he smiles and pulls out a brand new bikini and two towels. Also a beach umbrella and a picnic basket.

"You're so sweet James. Thank you." he hands me the bikini and tells me he'll set up the stuff and I nod, going to put on the bikini he got me in the bathrooms. It was sweet that he bought me a brand new bikini instead of telling me to bring one.

I try it on and it fits perfectly. It's actually a batman bikini. I think this may be my new favorite.i see James has started setting up the picnic and smile at him. Paps are everywhere around us right now. But they're also giving us a bit of space for once. That won't last long though.

"Why was the little boy sad?" I grin at him. These have become our thing.

"Because he had a frog stapled to his face." I respond. We smile cheekily at each other, digging in to our lunch. We tell each other those stupid jokes for a while, before deciding to go down to the water.

I feel him splash me and gasp, turning to see him acting like he didn't. I walk up onto the shore, asking a little kid of I can borrow his bucket. He agrees, and I rush back to James, filling the bucket and dumping it on his head. I rush the bucket back to the kid to see James still standing there soaked.

"Oh you're on, Greene." before I know it, we're in a full on war. Now normally, I'd be insecure about being seen in my bikini in public, but I'm not.

That's the thing about James. James makes me feel alive. He puts the electricity in my body and makes me forget the world. Like its just us here. Nothing can disrupt this everything is just perfect. James is my getaway, my perfect place and nothing in this world can change that. I wouldn't give it up for a thing.

We basically spent our afternoon splashing each other in the water, or laying out on the beach talking. It was honestly a perfect afternoon. Well it was my idea perfect afternoon.

"James thank you. You're always so sweet and know exactly what to do." I smile at him and he smiles back nervously. That's a bit weird, James is never nervous around me. I shrug as I pull my short over my head, and run my fingers through my damp hair. I probably look like a mess right now, but I couldn't really care less.

"There's something I need to ask you." he stops everything and I look to him. He's really worrying me right now. We've started to draw a small crowd, mostly of paparazzi. I don't even understand why eyre interested in my life, it's not like I'm one of the boys. "Will you, Madison Greene, be my girlfriend, and date to homecoming?" I gasp and nod my head.

I am speechless. James always seems to do this to me. Always catching me off guard. I also realize that homecoming is like, Friday. I'll make a mental reminder to go dress shopping soon, hopefully with the girls. I feel James reach around and put a necklace on me. I smile, looking at it and noticing its a little purple camera.

He pulls out a necklace from under his shirt, and shows it to me. I examine it, seeing it matches mine. Its a little black camera though. I smile at him, my grin growing wider if possible. We don't really need words to communicate, we kind of fit together.
