MADISON'S POV

The whole week went well. The girls glared at us most of the time, and for cooking I sat with Greg. We've become really good friends lately, along with his friend Matt. The jocks at this school, dot seem to be like how jocks are in the movies.

I've even changed my reputation with the other grades, including seniors. Instead of them hating me, and possibly wanted to attack me again after school, I've made friends with a few of them. The guy and his friends that beat me up are cool with me now too, but I'm a little weary around them.

By now, everyone knows what's happened with my old friends and ex boyfriend, and I'm okay with them knowing. It's in the past, and what happened happened. I've also heard that magazines got a little bit of it, and are coming out with something. That's what bothers me.

Phase one went perfectly, and next week Phase two starts to take action. See, phase one was all about changing reputations, and letting people know that I wasn't effected by what happened, I'll be okay with time. It's more James that bothered me.

Speaking of James, he hasn't been to school all week and I'm getting kind of worried. Brianna did say he took it hard, but not coming to school for a week? Something had to of happened.

I reach the house and walk up the steps. The boys said since it was Friday, they were going to make cookies by the time I was out of school. I open the door, and all I can smell is something burning.

I drop my bag and rush off into the kitchen, seeing nobody is in there. The smoke alarm starts going off and I cough, waving my hand around my face and squinting, trying to see through the smoke.

I grab the oven mitt, and quickly take the cookies out of the oven, shutting it off. There was no fire, but the burnt cookie smoke is terrible. I open the windows, and see the boys all fighting in the backyard and groan, walking out there.

"Are you idiots?" I interrupt their fighting, their heads snapping to me.

"Not now Madison, go inside!" Ashton shouts and I stand there, crossing my arms.

"Well, how am I supposed to shut off the stupid smoke alarm?" their eyes widen as they realize that, and they shove me and rush into the house as I fall to the ground. Damn boys.

I carefully lift up my arm, as Luke stepped on it with his stupid black converse while running inside.

"Ugh." I groan, deciding to stay laying out on the grass.

Time passes and I roll over onto my stomach, playing through the patch of clovers, sighing.

I pick up a four leaf clover with a smile, and carefully get up, not to hurt my arm as I walk inside, to see the boys arguing again. They see me, and walk past me again, going outside. Well at least the smoke alarm is off.

I watch them yell through the window, but I can't quite make out what they're saying. God, these boys are so childish.

I decide to check the social media apps in my phone, because I haven't done that in a while. I follow a few people on twitter, because for some reason they want that. I respond to a few DM's and check instagram. I post an old picture from my phone, but it's blonde Calum. He doesn't look good fully blonde that's for sure.

I go onto no one dies and play that a few times, trying to beat my high score. I eventually get frustrated, but as I pass my high score of 100 seconds, I cheer and turn my phone off, watching the boys again.

They're yelling about something and they all look pretty angry. I wonder what they're fighting about, as I slide the glass door open a bit. Just out of curiosity.

"This is all his fault!" Luke shouts pointing to Michael.

"How in the world, can you blame this on Michael?!" Calum shouts, a vein in his neck prominent.

"This was all his idea! He wanted this and you agreed to it! You're all stupid and we made a huge mistake doing this! This decision ruined our lives you idiots!" Luke shouts at them, and they all seem to get even more angry. They don't even see me standing by the door.

I really wonder what could have them arguing like this.

"Well Luke, what about you? You haven't helped at all with this! Maybe you should stop being a self absorbed asshole!" Michael shouts at him.

"All of you stop! This decision can be fixed, we all have a part in this, and it hasn't ruined our lives! Nothing bad is going to happen, so all of you need to fucking calm down!" Ashton shouts, and the next thing I see, is fists flying everywhere.

The boys are all tackling each other, angry at everyone. I gasp at the sight, some blood running down their faces. They're in one of those cartoon scenes, where all you can see are fists and feet and they're the ball of people rolling around, except they're standing.

I run outside, Hoping they'll stop if they see me. My attempts fail, as they don't see anything going on around them.

"Hey!" I shout, as strings of profanities leave their mouths, fists and insults flying everywhere.

"Stop!" I shout once more. The band part is, they're doing this on top of a small hill. The yard goes up a bit, and that's where the pool sits, and they're up close to the concrete, and edge of the hill. I walk closer to them, and tap on Michaels shoulder.

He doesn't seem to notice me, as fists keep flying and he doesn't even make an attempt to stop fighting about whatever the hell their mistake was. That is one question I'll have for a while, and I'll figure it out.

Suddenly, I feel a fist hit my face directly and someone kicks my knee, hard. I scream as I'm the one ending up tumbling backwards down the hill, and bending into weird contortions, as I hear their four gasps. I stop tumbling down the small hill, face up.

Everything is slow and a bit blurry as my whole body aches. I've been in this situation too many times with these boys, and I think I'm just accident prone. But I did at least get them to stop beating each other to pulps.

Four bloody and bruised faces hover over me, with worried looks on their faces. It starts to get darker around me, as I hear the boys shouting about something, and I think they call an ambulance but I'm not sure.

I see the worried looks on their faces, and black dots cloud my vision over. Then, I pass out, slowly and all at once with their worried faces and profanities in mind.

A/N

I'm not gonna lie, I could've updated yesterday. But I didn't. I wanted a day to relax and not have to worry about updating, so I did.

ROTC: The Fuck List by vvinterfell is one of my new favorite Luke stories, I read it and up to where she is in the sequel and I'm not gonna lie, I'm a bit obsessed. Just read it, you'll love it.

I'll probably update later, but I'm not promising anything. Sorry to leave you here, I suck at eding chapters haha.
