Following Namjoon into the office, I can feel all eyes on me. I ignore them however, very used to the feeling from the life I left behind a month ago. Instead, I just focus on following Namjoon up a couple flights of stairs and onto an office floor.

It wouldn't appear much too different than the others we passed by if it weren't for the giant bulletin boards that cover half of two different walls. The other half of both walls are covered by chalkboards with different randomly seeming words written on them. Though, the bulletin boards are clearly being used to keep track of different things.

"Perfect. Come." A man in the far left back corner says as he stands. Namjoon nods at the man before grabbing my wrist to drag me with him further into the room. Though, the dark brunette man leads us into a room attached to the floor off on the right side, closing the door once we're all inside.

"You plan to be fully cooperative, yes?" The unknown man asks me as he leans back on the table that's sat in the center of the room. I roll my eyes.

"It was either that or be brought in with cuffs." I speak coldly, my voice portraying just how against this idea I am right now.

"Good. How much experience do you have with guns and fighting? We need to know just how prepared you'll already be on your own to go into the Empire." He questions. I roll my eyes once again. At this rate, my eyes are gonna roll right the fuck outta my head.

"How much do you idiots actually know?" I scoff.

"I can fight and I know how to use a gun. Haven't done either in a while though. Dad didn't like me being out and playing around with either much. I don't know a lot about the Kim Empire though, other than they'd always been our rivals." I answer coldly, crossing my arms over my chest as I lean back against the wall beside the dark wooden door. The unknown man nods.

"You're sure about this, Kim?" He questions, looking over at Namjoon. The light brunette nods in response.

"I think he's our best shot, Yoongi. He knows the ins and outs of gang behavior and activity better than any of us, and he's going to have the best chance at fitting in. Jinhyuk couldn't look more like a fucking cop if he tried, Yang can't since they'd only send her straight to a prostitution ring, and you know how Jungkook feels about going back in. He hit the Jung Company once, and it's known to everyone in the department that he's never going back undercover." Namjoon answers with a curt nod.

Yoongi sighs, running a hand through his hair. Arms crossed over his chest, he eyes me for a couple minutes before looking back to Namjoon.

"Fine. Get Jungkook in here." Yoongi tells the other man. Namjoon gives him another nod before exiting the room.

"You may have experience, but you'll still be set through training. Namjoon will run through people and things of importance that you need to know going into the Empire. Jungkook will be training you the entire time in terms of workouts and guns. However, the first step in all of this is briefing you on major and important differences and things you need to know before starting everything." Yoongi informs me. I merely nod my head in boredom.

"Hello, hyungs." A black haired boy greets with a small bow as he enters the room with Namjoon in tow. Yoongi gives him a smile before gesturing to all of us to sit around the long oak wood table.

"It's good to finally meet you, Hoseok. I wish it were for better reasons though." The boy I'm assuming to be Jungkook says to me with a small smile as he sits across from me. I simply give him a curt nod.

"So Yoongi said you're here to brief me on a few things. Let's get to it, I don't like wasting time." I speak in annoyance. Jungkook merely nods in response.

"Right. So, first things first. Dress code for the Empire is quite different from your style. The Company style is business casual or just casual in general, depending on your level and rank. Anybody who's a somebody in the Empire is completely business professional. Suits everywhere. Only the lowest ranked don't wear suits and that tends to be because either their 'work' attire is nudeness or underwear if your in the production lines, if you're getting what I'm hinting at.

"The next item of business: work itself. I've worked undercover for the Company and as you can see, I made it out alive with few scratches. The same cannot be said for the Empire. There are a few different reasons why they've always been the most lethal and feared gang of Korea and why they hold much more territory and connections than the Company, with all due respect." Jungkook continues, shifting in his seat due to clear discomfort of the subject.

"They have a ton of underground connections, many that even the department hasn't connected yet I'm sure. Not just here in Korea, but overseas as well. They have tons of men. Tons of people and they don't take disagreements for an answer. They're extremely strict and if you fuck up, they'll put a fucking bullet through your brain.

"At the moment, what we know is that the Kims have two sons. Kim Taehyung who's the youngest, and then Kim Seokjin who's the oldest. However, it's believed that there may be another son. Though, from our understanding, Seokjin doesn't get involved with work affairs too much. What we've seen is that Taehyung and possibly this new son seem to be involved.

"Taehyung and Mr. Kim have two different ways of killing that are distinctly their own from what I've witnessed. Mr. Kim goes for clean headshots. If he's the one for the killing, you're getting a bullet through your fucking brain. If it's Taehyung, then you're getting a knife to the goddamn throat. However, we've been seeing different styles of killing within the last few months that makes us believe that the third child has begun to play with work as well. But it depends, sometimes the people are full of fucking lead or it's hellish tortured death.

"Hopefully, you won't end up getting too high in the ranks of the Empire. If you make one wrong move up there, there's a high chance you're getting fucking dumped in the Han River. Anyways though, that should be the big things that you need to be mindful of." Jungkook finishes with a sigh, looking down at his hands that are folded on the table.

Does it sound like I'm set up for failure or does it seem like I'm set up for failure?
