Yoongi POV
Pacing up and down the conference room on the departments floor, I sigh and run a hand through my hair. Jungkook is standing in the room with me, his actions mimicking mine whilst Namjoon leans back against the wall adjacent to the door. All three of us have been on edge since last night when it came out that a shooting took place in one of the most famous and expensive hotels in all of Seoul. We'd spotted The Girl going there with Hoseok and there had even been a spotting of Taehyung entering the event that had been hosted there as well.
"Fuck, I wish he'd just fucking call already. What the hell are we going to do if his dumbass went and got himself killed?" Namjoon huffs quietly, shaking his head.
"Are you kidding me?! That's all the fuck you care about right now?! Is the fucking mission?!" Jungkook explodes on him. Sighing, I walk over to the younger boy and place both hands on his shoulders gently.
"Jungkookie, calm down. Okay? We're all on edge and I'm sure Namjoon didn't mean it in the sense that he doesn't care at all about Hoseok and his health." I tell him softly, squeezing his shoulders gently. He sighs, slumping his shoulders a bit before walking away again.
"Look, I know we're all stressed out about this. Just pacing the room and standing around here isn't going to accomplish anything though. We aren't going to get anything done in here like this." I tell them both with a sigh. They both look over at me but nod silently.
"Besides, like Jungkook said last time. Right? He may just have to be careful right now with everything that's going on. The Girl just had someone try to kill her. He needs to be careful not to blow his cover after what's just happened. Besides, the shooting just happened last night. We have to give him time." I continue, not entirely sure whether I'm trying to convince them or myself at this point.
Hoseok POV
Rubbing my eyes tiredly, I look around myself. It takes a few seconds of really waking up before I realize that I'm certainly not in the room that I'd been given. I'm in an extremely soft bed, though I'm not alone in it either. Looking down and forward, I realize that I'm curled up with Choyeon. Somehow, we've ended up with me laying on my back, her on her stomach beside me with her head on my chest and hand on my stomach with my injured arm wrapped around her. Lifting my head up to look around a bit, I find Jimin sitting on the edge of the bed in a black tee shirt most likely belonging to Jin as he stares out the window near us.
"Finally awake? How you feeling?" Jimin asks softly as he turns to glance over at us, finding me awake. I take in a slow breath, nearly fully awake at this point.
"Yeah. I'm feeling okay, I guess. It still burns and hurts like hell, but not as bad as last night, I suppose." I answer quietly. He gives me a small smile, nodding his head.
"You lost quite a bit of blood, babe. You must not be doing too terrible for being awake right now." He tells me, standing up from the bed to walk away. Moving my good arm to support my head in a propped up position, I follow him with my eyes over to a set of drawers on the other side of the bed. Jimin opens up the top drawer, pulling out a bottle and knocking some pills out. After that, he walks over to the kitchen area and pulls out a glass before filling it with water. Now having the things he wants, he comes back over to me.
"How long have I been out for?" I ask quietly as he grows near again, not wanting to risk waking Choyeon. He gives me a gentle smile as he hands me four pills and the glass.
"Very unlikely that you'll wake her up, Jhope. She was gambling her life with how much blood she lost and then giving to you for the blood transfusion. But you've been out for over twelve hours now. I think you've gotten around sixteen hours." Jimin answers softly as he sits down on the bed next to me. I carefully pop the pills in my mouth and knock them back with the water he'd given me. He takes the glass once I finish the water, setting it down on the shorter set of drawers next to my side of the bed.
"You did so good last night, babe. You took such good care of Cho and did such good work." Jimin murmurs with a light smile, brushing his fingers through my red hair gently. I give him a faint smile as I look up at him.
"Jimin, where are we right now? All I remember was the sofa in Jin's room last night and I know I'm not in my room now." I ask shyly. He chuckles softly, leaning down and pressing a kiss to my forehead.
"We're in Cho's room. I think maybe when she wakes up, you two can get your reward. Unless you want yours now?"
