Mr. Kim POV

Sighing to myself, the meeting finally ends. Running a hand through my hair tiredly, I collect all of the papers and files up before handing them off to Chang. As the other men exit the room, I stand and wander over to the wall that's made up entirely of windows.

"Is everything alrighty, Sir?" Chang asks calmly, looking over to me as he moves to stand beside me. As I look out the window, my eyes scan over the new recruits that all of the men in the meeting had provided for us.

"Yes, Chang. I'm just hoping that our new recruits will be able to measure up. With Choyeon taking over within the next year, we have to ensure that she's fit to lead and that everyone will follow her as they have me. It's time to start bringing her into the picture so that everyone understands how things will be running." I answer, looking down on the different recruits we have.

Though, there's one in particular that catches my eye. The boy seems to be just a small amount shorter than most of the recruits and has vivid red hair. He's definitely the cleanest of the recruits, looking fairly cleaned up in a suit that seems to fit him okay. Definitely wasn't tailored but that's fixable.

"Chang, who's the recruit right there? With the red hair." I ask, not taking my eyes off the boy.

"I'm afraid I don't have any information on any of the recruits at the moment, Mr. Kim. I can go retrieve the information you request if you'd like?" He offers. I shake my head.

"That won't be necessary. We'll head down and you can go straight to the car. I'll go speak to the boy myself." I inform him before turning on my heel and exiting the conference room. Within seconds, Chang is back in front of me as he leads us out of the building without another word said.

Once we're out of the building, Chang heads straight for the car whilst I head in the direction of the red haired boy. I can feel the eyes of others on me, though when I look in their directions, their gaze has already averted to the ground. Not a surprising reaction from new recruits.

As I walk up to the boy, he glances over at me only after I've grown fairly near. It's clearer now to see that he's smoking, though it doesn't bother me in the slightest. As much as I hate the fact that he's smoking, I know a large amount of my men do the same if not worse. His eyes widen slightly as he must realize that I'm heading to him before giving me a deep bow. I smile at the sight.

He knows respect. Impressive.

"What's your name, kid?" I ask as I reach him, my question coming off more as a statement than a question. He looks up at me with slack lips for a moment before seeming to have collected his bearings to respond.

"I go by Jhope, Mr. Kim." He answers with a surprisingly steady voice. A smile once again appears in acknowledgement to the fact that he seems to know how to handle his surprise well.

"Interesting. What work were you doing before coming here?" I ask, wanting to find more out before deciding if I want to follow through with my prior thoughts.

"I worked under Yeun with drugs. Not specifically handling the drugs themselves, but the selling process." He replies. I nod, thinking for a moment.

"Worked the selling process... So you were involved with the meetings then, correct?" I question. He nods silently in response.

"Perfect. I'd like you to come with me, Jhope." I tell him before turning and walking back towards the car. I get about five meters away before hearing his footsteps follow causing a small smirk to tug at my lips. Though, I remain silent and continue on to the car where Chang is still patiently waiting to let us in.

"A new pet, Mr. Kim?" Chang asks calmly as he eyes the boy following.

"A present, Chang. A present." I correct as he opens the door for us. I slide in to the far seat before the boy enters and then Chang on the other side of him.

Hoseok POV

The drive feels like forever as we head off to wherever it is we're going. I decide it best to just remain silent and keep my gaze focused on the surroundings we pass by. Though, despite trying to keep myself focused on the outside and not panic as to why the hell I've been labeled a present and the fact that I'm with the Kim, its all something that proves to be rather difficult as the drive seems to drag for ages.

After what's probably been close to forty five minutes, the car finally slows to a stop in front of what I'm sure is one of the most expensive apartment complexes in the entirety of Seoul. My eyes at least double in size as I follow Chang out of the car before forcing the reaction away.

Instead, I stay focused on Kim and Chang as I follow them both into the building. Upon setting foot inside the lobby area, I'm immediately stopped. Chang and Kim don't stop though, heading over to the other side of the lobby as I'm checked.

"If you're looking for Ms. Kim, she'll be in Master Kim's room. Young Mr. Kim is still in his respective room, Mr. Kim." One of the people at the desk informs Kim as he waits. The man simply nods his head in response whilst waiting for me.

I'm forced to hand over my cigarettes and lighter, and end up with my shoes removed before I'm allowed to cross the floor to reach them. Though, the moment I'm there, Kim hits a button to what I'm sure is an elevator to call it. Seconds later, it arrives and Mr. Kim and I enter it together while Chang waits outside.

It doesn't take too long before the elevator brings us to the top floor of the building. I manage to hide my surprise at the fact that we're going to the top penthouse suite of this place. It sounds like all three kids live here so I'd imagine they stay in the top three floors.

Though, as we exit the elevator and step onto the short amount of flooring provided, we're immediately greeted by a closed door. He doesn't even bother knocking before opening the door and entering, grabbing me by my wrist to drag me inside.

There is no hiding my surprise this time though...
