Stepping out of the vehicle, I smile over at Cho and take her hand. I catch her taking a deep breath, nodding her head to me as I gently shut the door after Jimin climbs out behind us. He stands at my other side, wrapping his arm around mine with his nerves fairly visible. I lean over, kissing the side of his head before I lead them both to the door. Holding it open for both of them, I follow them inside before they return to their previous positions on either side of me.

Almost instantly, all eyes are on us. Cho immediately takes her controlled and confident disposition, clearly noticing this fact as well. Of course, Jimin only grows more anxious from this as he clings even closer to my side, no one bothering to approach or hide their staring. I merely smirk, almost feeling proud of having this affect.

My eyes scan the area, searching the crowd for the two men that I know will be talking together. The further we get into the ballroom, the quieter the room grows, regular volume discussions quickly dying down to a quiet murmur as they all quickly recognize who I am and what's clearly going on between Cho and I. I feel a smirk appear at my lips, glad that everyone knows who I am and that I'm clearly with Choyeon.

Unfortunately, all too soon, people are clearing a pathway for us to our parents. They quickly come into view, they're attention being dragged from their conversation to why people are growing so quiet and moving silently away and around them. I watch as my father's eyes widen, Mr. Kim's following close behind.

"Hoseok?" Appa murmurs with wide eyes, lips falling slight. At this, Mr. Kim's eyes grow even larger if it's possible at this point. I chuckle proudly, moving my hand from Cho's to instead be around her waist as she leans into me calmly. It's the topping on the cake that finally makes her father's lips fall slack as well, lips parting in disbelief.

"What? Surprised to see me?" I question, a smug look on my face.

"Choyeon, what the hell are you doing around him? And why is the slut here?" Mr. Kim questions in a stern tone. I chuckle loudly, amused by his sudden change of disposition.

"Mr. Kim, I do believe that you happened to have been the one to place me by her side. Ya know, the present you found for her whilst at one of the recruitment centers? Does, Jhope ring a bell?" I speak, resting my hand on her hip. Glancing down at her, she too wears a smirk as she watches her father's facial expressions constantly changing, the reluctant 'good' child no longer here. Looking over to Jimin, he's got his head tilted to the ground, eyes on both men though as a precaution as he rests his head against my arm.

"Hoseok, why are you anywhere near her or the Kim group in the first place? Where the hell have you been for the last few months?" Appa drills with a frown. I scoff in response, rolling my eyes.

"Please. What the fuck do you think I've been doing and where I've been? I've been staying the fuck away from you and that shithole of a family and life. I'm near her because I want to be, and it'd make no sense for a boyfriend to avoid his beautiful girlfriend. Not that you would know how to treat a significant other or anyone that should be of importance to you." I respond calmly. His jaw completely drops, my mother's as well. Of course, Taehyung chooses this exact moment to step forward out of the crowd and to his father's side.

"Choyeon, come on. Don't be stupid, you two can't serious!" Mr. Kim exclaims, shaking his head at us. I just give him another smirk before leaning down and pressing my lips to hers. Instantly, her lips mold to mine as she kisses back. Both of us smile into the kiss, lips moving together in sync for a good thirty seconds before we finally pull away. Looking back up to the two families stood before us, both women are gripping tightly onto their husbands arms, panic stricken looks on their faces.

"I told you she wouldn't be able to handle the pressure of being heir, father. Stupid and incompetent, reckless and irresponsible." Taehyung says with an annoyed look as he folds his arms over his chest. Cho scoffs at this, rolling her eyes at her brother's comment.

"Fuck off, Tae. You act like I'm the one that betrayed you when I didn't. Besides, I'm not the rotten fucker that attacked their own sibling and fucking killed Jin. You can run your mouth and say what you want, but there's no changing the truth." Cho snaps, giving him a glare. I merely lean down, kissing the top of her head, trying to help keep her calm.

"Come on. Let's get out of here. Clearly, Taehyung has this all under control. Right? No need for us here?"
