"So what exactly is the plan for tonight?" I ask quietly as we sit in the car on our way to the event. Choyeon sighs, running a hand through her hair as she stares out the window.
"The event is starting at six thirty tonight. There's a business building just a block away that you'll need to leave for at seven. You'll exit the building and take a left, turning left once you reach the intersection. It'll be on the right side of the street. I'm afraid Hodong has been causing some trouble and has been a tad too suspicious for my likings, Hope. I want you to get as much information out of him as possible then get rid of him so that we won't need to worry any further for that shit. I want what he knows and who he knows. Don't be long. Afterwards, I want you back at the event as quickly as possible." She answers, not bothering to look over at me.
"And what about you? How're you going to handle the people that are going after you at the event tonight?" I ask, my voice softer this time. She just waves a hand dismissively though.
"I'll handle it. You take care of what I've assigned to you. I'd do it myself if it weren't for everything going on at this damned celebration." She mutters coldly. I frown but decide to stay silent, not wanting to upset her.
It doesn't take much longer after that before we're arriving at the event. I can see right through the smile that she pulls on the moment we step out of the car, but I can't blame her. Silently following her inside, I stay right on her heels as we go through the glass revolving doors. Within seconds, the sound levels increase immensely with tons of people suddenly around and talking. Somehow, I manage to stick with Choyeon as she slowly walks through the crowd. As we go along, there's a few waiters and waitresses that offer us both drinks, having wine or champagne and even whiskey from the looks of it. Though, we both turn down the drinks.
"Hope, it's time you go handle business, I'm afraid. Please don't be long." Choyeon eventually says as she turns back to me with a smile. I bow and walk away, quickly working to find my quickest way to the exit. Following her directions, I soon find myself at the building that she'd informed me of and I quickly head inside.
"I'm here on behalf of Ms. Kim." I explain as I get stopped by two guards once I reach a certain door. It's the only one on this floor and I find it hard to believe that the outside isn't just a front. They both nod, quickly patting me down and removing my gun before granting me access inside the room. They follow me in, staying by the door while I head over to the chair that Hodong is tied in.
"Who the fuck are you?" The man snaps coldly. I chuckle.
"Aww, were you hoping to find Ms. Kim instead of myself? Hoping to see a good sight before you go back to wherever the fuck you came from?" I tease harshly. It almost scares me how easy it's becoming for me to turn things like this attitude on and off. It's painful to do it, but becoming easy nonetheless.
"Go fuck yourself, kid. You're not getting shit outta me." He snarls with a glare. I merely chuckle though.
"Now, now, Hodong. I may be younger than you, but I am a superior to you. That's no way to speak to Ms. Kim or her right hand person, now is it?" I joke darkly as I slowly start walking towards him. He merely scoffs in response.
"You're a piece of shit just like her. That's what the fuck you are." Hodong scoffs. I tsk him in return.
"Look. We can do this the hard way, or we can do this the easy way." I inform him, pulling my gloves out and slipping them on. He remains silent, still glaring at me as if to challenge me.
"You couldn't fucking do the hard way if you tried. You're a fucking weakling just like the bitch herself." He spits before I punch him across the face. The older man groans, head lulling for a moment.
"I highly suggest you just give me what I want before I have to break it out of you." I tell him before he starts rambling off a bunch of bullshit. I roll my eyes at the nonsense, punching him and breaking his nose in the process. He yelps out in pain, struggling against his restraints.
"Come on, Hodong. Just give me what I want." I push, punching him in the stomach this time.
"Go... to hell." He manages to breathe out despite the blood now falling in streams from his mouth.
"Come on, man. Just give it the fuck up." I snap, sticking my thumb into his eye this time. He screams in pain, entire body shaking and jerking against his restraints in the chair.
"Fuck! Okay! Okay! I'll tell you!" Hodong finally caves. Pulling my hand away from his face, I cross my arms over my chest.
"Then let's hear it." I snap impatiently. He stays silent for a few seconds, most likely catching his breath and collecting his bearings for a moment.
"Youngjae. Woosang. Daesu. They're the only three I know of that are involved and were contacted as well. He-he's starting an uprising. A-a revolt against Choyeon." The man speaks between heavy breaths.
"Who's organizing it and reaching out? When is it happening?" I question, wrapping a hand around his throat but not tight enough to choke him out yet.
"It's already fucking happening, you dumbass. The plan was set into playa few days ago. You're too late already to try and stop it." Hodong explains with a weak chuckle.
"Who the fuck is organizing and contacting people?!" I shout, smacking him across the face.
"Mr. Kim. It's Mr. Kim Taehyung."
