Serena and Valerie spend a couple of hours on Cooper's Beach, Serena turned her – "would you like to come over tomorrow? My friend Blair is coming back from her trip – maybe we can all hang out". Valerie thought it over, nodding she spoke, "Sure, sounds fun". They both exchanged numbers and went their separate ways.

Once Valerie made it home, she noticed the house was empty. She quickly dialed her brother, but she got no response, "mother trucker left me – like always", she scoffed. Heading up stairs, she decided to get ready and head out to explore the town, maybe meet someone interesting on the way. As she walked to the front she noticed a second driver to her disposal. "Where to miss?", he questioned. "Center of town please", she responded as she got in the back seat.

"I'll be around the area, when you're ready to head home just call me", her driver explained. She got out of the black SUV and looked around, "bar. bar. café... store". Her attention was focused on a bus that stopped at the over side of the road. "What's a jitney?", she questioned while looking at the side of the bus. Suddenly, someone got her attention. "It's the guy from the beach?", she thought to herself. Vibrations alerted Valerie to her phone stored in her back pocket.

"Spotted – Chuck Bass waiting for the jitney, a dozen roses in one hand – his heart in the other - "

Valerie looked up and noticed as a girl walked off the bus and made eye contact with the awaiting Chuck.

"You know what they say --- a man is a good thing to come home for, but then even better to come home with –"

Looking at the soap opera playing in front of her, she noticed a very attractive guy kiss the girl right in front of Chuck.

"Ain't karma a bitch? We know Blair Waldorf is", - Valerie put the puzzle pieces together. This was the Blair, Serena was talking about. As the people got off the bus, and the bus itself rolled away she couldn't help but notice a very pissed off Chuck across the street. Valerie had an internal fight with herself, should she go over to him or not, - "Don't do it Valerie". Going against herself, she voiced to Chuck across the road, "seems like you need a drink? "The pissed off Chuck Bass looked over, "are you offering?", he sternly asked. Valerie smirked, "if you get over your pride, I'll be at Monty's", she said and walked off into the bar.

Minutes passed, and Valerie knew he wasn't going to show. Taking her out of her thoughts, by her phone ringing, she answered it. "Well hello to you brother, thanks for ditching me".

"I was busy", he shortly answered.

"Really that was your reason", she responded.

Richard chuckled, "do you really want to know what I was doing".

Valerie thought twice, "to be honest not really", she laughed.

"Where are you?", he questioned.

"I'm at Monty's but I'm heading out now", she stated, "this place – ". She was cut short when she noticed someone take a seat next to her.

It was Chuck.

"Richard, on second thought. I'm going to stay here a little while", she told him.

"Use protect- ", she ended the call.

Valerie took a sip of her drink, "I thought you weren't going to show".

He looked over, studying her, - "were you expecting me to show?".

"What's with you answering my questions with questions?", she wondered.

He darkly chuckled, "I like messing around with you".

She furrowed her eyebrows, "you just met me".

He moved in closer, "but we can learn about each other rather quickly", he teased.

Two can play at this game, she moved in closer and taunted him as well, "if you're trying to make Blair jealous. I know a lot of ways". Chuck moved back to his spot, "how do you know about that?", he wondered.

Chuck moved back to his spot, "how do you know about that?", he wondered

Suddenly, their phones both pinged at the same time. It was a e-blast.

"Spotted – Our very own Chuck spending some quality time with a Carrington. Is he trying to move from Blair that quickly? Only time will tell. I'll keep you guys updated. You know you love me ---------x.o.x.o Gossip Girl".
