New Years in Greece was a past reminder of the hurt, she was trying to so desperately ignore but it seemed to rise from within. She hoped that if she traveled as far from New York she would forget him, I mean he probably already had.
"Yes, Richard I'm about to land. I'll see you soon", Valerie voiced through the phone on one hand and a glass of champagne in the other.

Valerie had just finished breakfast when her phone rang, it was Blair.
"Hello Blair!", Valerie exclaimed as a sense of happiness rushed through her.
"No time for talk, I need you to come to my place – ".
"Like now?", Valerie questioned.
"Now", she exclaimed as hung up the call.
She quickly grabbed her bag and headed out towards her driver, telling him to move as quickly as possible to the Waldorf residence.She sent the driver away and quickly headed inside only to find Blair in the lobby with Dorota in tow.
Blair grabbed her arm and headed down the block only to find a black limo pulling alongside the curb.
A uniformed man came out of the building and held the car door open.
"Blair is that – ".
Suddenly, a man in a suit walked out of the limo smiling when he saw Blair.
"Blair", he said coming closer to the trio.
He then looked at Valerie, "we haven't had the pleasure of meeting", he extended his hand, "I'm Jack".
Timidly, Valerie smiled and shook his hand, "Valerie Carrington".
He raised his eyebrow, "you're a Carrington?", he asked in disbelief.
"Didn't I just say that?", Valerie stated for Dorota to chuckle.
