The pair arrived at the location of the Snowflake Ball, seniors from the area private schools gathered at the entrance, some hanging out while others going inside.
Blair and Valerie got off but before they went inside, Blair advised Valerie to wait until her signal.
"Ok then", Valerie agreed Blair walked inside amongst the crowd.
Valerie took that time, looking at what everyone was wearing. She mostly noticed light, white or beige tones; leave it for Valerie to once again pick a red tone dress.
All of a sudden, Valerie's phone vibrated with a simple message; "all good".
She didn't know what she was going to face, so she took a deep breath and walked inside.
Migrating through the mass of seniors, she saw Blair in front of a guy who's back was turned from her view.
When Blair noticed Valerie, she smiled and gave her a signal to hurry.
"Good evening my name is – ", Valerie stated as she got next to him.
"Valerie" was the name that came out of Chuck's mouth.
He was her date.
She was his.
