The thing that we had
And your sand coloured eyes

Like where the sea and land rise
To meet each other
And it'll hurt you
Like a thousand knives
Piercing through
Your heart of lies
You'll see me smile
Full of confidence
And you'll wonder for a while
What you missed
Where did my shyness go?
What happened to the broken girl?
Why do her eyes shine so?
This can't be the one I know
And you'll fall in love with me again
And think about what went wrong
