Aidyn's POV
The radio station cut in and out, and I huffed in frustration. Shaking my head, I took my hand off of the wheel and changed the station. 'Party in the USA' was on, and I cannot say no when it comes to Miley.
Unfortunately, the song was pretty much over, and it cut to commercial. "I'm sorry guys. I just wanted to find some music for the car ride there, but I guess that wont be happening." I apologised, clicking on another station, hoping for a good song to be on.
"YES!" I shouted, pumping my fist in the air. It was one of my favorite songs, 'A Certain Shade of Green' by Incubus, and you know I had to sing along. I practically screamed each lyric, getting the boys in the seats around me to whoop and holler, having fun and jamming out, despite not knowing the song.
And then it happened. Right as I was reaching to turn the volume down from our little jam session, I suddenly began to hear Jungkook's voice flooding the speakers. I automatically turned it up, and we all began singing along to Boy In Luv.
We were all screaming the lyrics at the top of our lungs, and we probably would have looked like idiots if the windows of the van hadn't been tinted so you couldn't see inside. I turned the volume up to 65, a very high, (but still crisp) sound s.o we could all jam out together.
Jin began dancing, moving his body in time with the song, every once in a while doing the real choreo. Everyone was doing their own thing, having fun and messing around. Even Yoongi woke up from his nap long enough to do his rap part before going back to sleep on Jimin's shoulder.
I sighed as the song ended, wanting to continue to relish in the fact that I, and ordinary girl, was here with BTS, the biggest boy band in the world.
"Aaand that's all of the newer songs I have for the rest of the hour, so I figure let's play some country! Here we go, ladies and gentlemen." The radio announcer screamed in our ears, causing everyone to wince in pain.
I turned it down, saying, "Maybe some country would be good for you. Learn about my roots a little b--" I cut off as the song began playing.
Oh hell to the no.
Rm's POV
I was sitting in the passenger seat by Aidyn the whole time, listening as everything went down. It was fun, of course, and I don't think I've ever had such a good time in the car with the boys outside of Korea.
It was fantastic, and kind of freeing in a way for me. Hey, at least I wasn't breaking stuff yet, right? I was happy as can be until I noticed Aidyn's knuckles begin to go white as she gripped the steering wheel harshly. I imagined that if the wheel were a person, that person would be dead.
"Aidyn... are you okay?" I asked. The song playing sounded sad, and it really brought down the mood of the whole van. She just nodded her head, her lips pressed into a thin white line.
Without saying a word to any of us, she just reached over and turned the radio off, taking the sad song with it. "Jesus Christ I hate that song." She mumbled under her breath, holding her head in her right hand as she drove.
"Are you sure? Because we could talk about it if you want? I know it's probably kind of private, but we won't tell your secrets,I swear. We care about you too much for that. If there's anything we can do--" Hobi began from the next row behind.
"There isn't." She cut him off. "Really, I'm fine. Just going through some stuff with my dad is all. Now please, carry on having fun. We're almost there anyway." She said, wiping at her right eye furiously. I nodded at the boys in the back, and they nodded back. Nothing would be done until Aidyn began to feel better.
