Aidyn's POV
The kiss was... breathtaking. His lips felt so soft against mine, so perfectly perfect. I wish I could say that everything faded away in my bliss, that I now longer felt the cold snow landing rapidly on me, that my extremities weren't stiff and cold, but alas, I cannot. I still felt everything, but I ignored it all, and focused on the beautiful man in front of me.
His hands were around my waist pulling me closer and closer still, simultaneously deepening the kiss, running his tongue along my bottom lip as a way of asking permission. I allowed it, and opened up my mouth to him, kissing him with as much passion as I could. After a few minutes, we pulled away to breathe, both of us panting heavily.
"That was... wow." He sighed, running a hand through his hair. I smiled, feeling that my lips were now swollen and tired.
"I've never, ah, kissed anyone like that before." I looked down, wrapping the blanket tighter around myself.
"What? With tongue?" He placed a finger under my chin, forcing me to look up at his face, a cheeky grin on it. I rolled my eyes and looked away again, laughing lightly.
"With emotion. Real, reciprocated emotion," I sighed, continuing to look at anything but him. "It made me feel special." The last part came out as a mutter, and I prayed he didn't hear it, until I realized he had.
"You are special, Aidyn. And you always deserve to feel that way," Taehyung spoke softly, before stepping forward and wrapping his arms around me once more, hugging me tightly. "I really like you." I nodded my head, willing the tears to go away.
"I like you too, Tae. It's just... I can't right now." I clutched tighter onto him, not wanting him to leave me.
"Why not, Aidyn?" His voice was soft, and the exact opposite of what I expected. I expected him to be angry with me, to pull away and leave me for good. Instead, he sounded caring, thoughtful, as if I could say anything, and he would be okay with it.
"I think I just... have to learn how to love myself before I can love anyone else, if that makes sense." I felt him nod his head, and I pushed back harder against the tears, forcing them to stay in my tear ducts where they belong.
"That makes the most sense, baby. We should get back to the others soon, or else Jin'll worry." I blushed like a tomato at the pet name, but nodded anyway and left the treehouse with him.

By the time we got back to the house, it was just about dark, so I knew Grammy would be heading to bed soon. Unless someone special was at her house, like my cousins who rarely visited, she would go to bed around 8 or 8:30 in the evening.
"Hey, you're back!" Yoongi called, smiling widely at us. My jaw dropped and I stopped all movements, staring back at him. "Aidyn? What's wrong?"
"She's never seen you do... that in person. She's probably in shock. Just give her a minute." Tyler said, playing games intently on his phone.
"OHMYGODHEJUSTGUMMYSMILEDATMEITHINKIMGOINGINTOCARDIACRRESTIMGONNADIEOHMYGODTAEHYUNGMYWILLISINTHETOPDRAWEROFMYNIGHSTANDBACKHOMEPLEASEAVENGEMYDEATHITCAMEFARTOOSOON!" I said all in one breath, before going over to the bar where he stood in the kitchen and hugging him tightly.
"Hey, what the hell!" Taehyung shouted, pretending to be hurt. Yoongi chuckled and hugged me back, making me nearly die of happiness right then and there.
"Aw, look! She's so adorable! O-Okay, you can let go now, Aidyn." He said, hugging me and patting my back. He pulled away first, and I sighed, going back to sit on the couch, spreading out and laying on top of Jungkook and Taehyung.
