So. We loaded up the car, everyone piling in after a strict warning about not messing up my seats as the leather was original, and I did not feel like having my car reupholstered because of someones puke.
"Can we listen to music Aidyn?" Jimin asked. "I wanna listen to, uh, EXO?" He said it like a question.
"Do you want to listen to EXO or not?" I laughed, flipping on my blinker to change lanes.
"Do like EXO Aidyn?" He countered shyly. I giggled.
"Yeah, I guess. Their fans are sometimes rude to ARMY's, but yeah, I like them. Are you just asking cause you want to listen to something that I like?" I asked, still laughing a bit.
"What? No! Er, maybe? Yes. Wait, they're rude to ARMY's?" He said, eyebrows raised, giving him an adorable expression that made me laugh harder.
"What do you guys want to listen to?" I tilted the rearview mirror back to show Taehyung and Jungkook, looking them in the eyes. Taehyung was looking out the window with an expression of awe covering his face, while Jungkook just kind of sat there, nodding his head silently, not making eye contact with me.
"Hmph." I huffed, handing Jimin my now unlocked phone. "Play whatever you want, but do not go through my phone. Especially my camera roll, you egg." I said warningly. He nodded, clicking 'Shuffle' on EXO's Spotify account.
As Tempo poured through the speakers of my car, I gradually loosened up, eventually singing along outright, harmonizing with them. Jimin and Taehyung also began to sing, but Jungkook stayed silent the whole time, looking out the window with his tongue in his cheek.
Eventually we reached our destination, a place called Elysium in Downtown Austin. I did not want to be there, but it was either there or the other place, but our friend Erika was banned from there for the next ten years for having sex in the bathroom, so we were boycotting.
Just as we were about to walk in the doors after meeting up with everyone else, my phone began ringing off the hook. I promised everyone I'd find them again inside, and they went in without me.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Aidyn? It's me. Listen, we need someone for Fine Arts Friday, so could you and Tyler do your scene from a couple years ago? You know, the one with the dad and his daughter? It has a nice moment in it about family or whatever and Waugh wants me to incorporate that since it's almost Thanksgiving break, y'know? And don't worry, you can leave when you're done, Jude told me you were gonna skip. Anyway, thanks Aidyn!" She rambled before hanging up.
I sighed, putting my phone back into my purse. I walked inside, immediately spotting Tyler's shiny blue jacket that always reminded me of Jungkook in Fake Love. Walking over, I sighed once more and set my bag down before sitting down at the bar where they were.
"Who was it?" Tyler asked, handing me a shot of who-knows-what.
"Castañon. She said we have to do our Jasmine scene for Fine Arts Friday, so don't get too shit-faced tonight." I said, downing it in one gulp. It burned going down, but it was also sweet, and I immediately recognized it as Fireball.
"Wait, you can drink? How old are you guys?" Namjoon asked. Tyler tutted his tongue, shaking his head.
"Here, anything goes! Worse case scenario, we have to pull out our fake ID's, but that's never happened before. C'mon Yoongi, let's go dance!" He shouted over the booming of the music before running off, Yoongi's hand in his.
I shook my head before flipping the glass, tapping it as a signal to the bartender for another. She nodded, bringing me a fresh shot. I downed that one as quickly as the first before asking for another. As I was about to take the shot, someone put a hand over the glass, stopping me.
