Relax

A/N - This one will be more of separated times than one continuous timeline. This should be cute. And might be long and so random?? Like ugh, I don't like this one.

Sometimes Nico and Levi just needed to relax and take a break from their work. It was lucky that they both knew how to help the other when stressed, both appreciated it very much. It had come a regular part of their relationship when they were stressed.

Levi had just come in from a way too long shift; tired, stressed over patients and aching from standing around all day. Nico could tell by the way he threw his bag to the side and collapsed on the couch before letting out a quiet groan.

"Long day?" Nico asked, watching him take off his glasses and rub his eyes. Levi just nodded in response before turning to look at Nico.

"I think I could sleep for a whole month," Levi yawned, rubbing his face like a child. Nico smiled sympathetically at his boyfriend before standing from the couch. "Where are you going?" Levi watched, his head resting on his hands.

"I'm going to cook you some food as I'm assuming you've barely eaten all day and you are going to take a hot shower," Nico smiled sweetly, kissing Levi's head before heading towards the kitchen. Levi stool there for a second, just smiling at Nico which made Nico chuckle. "Go shower before you fall asleep standing there."

"I wouldn't fall asleep standing," Levi pouted but began walking towards the bedroom.

"You've fallen asleep standing before, just don't fall asleep in the shower," Nico finished, chuckling quietly to himself as he watched Levi walk away.

Levi came out of the bedroom, hair still damp and a ruffled mess with baggy sweatpants and a top on, and in Nico's opinion, looking extremely cute. The smell of Levi's favourite comfort food filled the room, Nico finishing off the Mac and cheese that Levi so desperately wanted, realizing how little he had eaten today.

Levi walked up behind Nico, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend's waists and resting his head on his shoulder blades. Nico smiled as Levi did this, lacing his fingers with one of Levi's as he finished cooking with one hand.

"Feeling better?" Nico asked, looking back over his shoulder slightly. He felt Levi nod and kiss his shoulder, making him smile slightly.

The two ate quietly, watching a movie that was on. Levi had ended up getting seconds while Nico found a book to read instead of watching the movie. Eventually, Levi finished, finding it hard to get comfortable on the couch.

"Come here," Nico smiled, looking up from his book. Nico shifted in his seat, almost laying across the couch but sat up enough to continue reading. Levi snuck up under his boyfriend's arms, wrapping his arm around Nico's waist and laying his head on his chest, their legs tangled together. Both of them smiled as they got comfortable, Levi closing his eyes listening to Nico's heartbeat and Nico going back to reading his book, it fell quiet between the two again.

"Read to me," Levi mumbled, the tiredness taking over. Nico started the sentence he was reading over again, reading aloud in a soft voice. Nico knew Levi had fallen asleep pretty quickly but continued to read aloud, his thumb tracing circles on his boyfriends back.

All the way home from the hospital, Nico was quiet, constantly checking his phone while driving which made Levi anxious but also knew that Nico was stressed. He could see that his boyfriend was holding tension in his shoulders as he drove, his fingers tapping quickly on the steering wheel.
