As Levi sat in the passenger seat of Nico's car on their way to the hospital, his mind couldn't stop thinking that something felt wrong. He could feel a pit forming in his stomach and his body felt uneasy but from what he could tell, nothing was immediately wrong.

Levi glanced around as Nico continued driving, his hands fiddling in his lap, trying to take his mind off the odd feeling. He was probably just tired right? Nothing was going to go wrong. Levi tried telling himself this again and again as he looked again, seeing that everything was normal. The news played softly in the background and Levi listen intently but also, everything was normal.

Levi turned his mind back to the early morning at Nico's place, thinking through what he did. Maybe he left something on or forgot something at home and that was making him feel uneasy. He went through a mental check, thinking about what he did from the moment he woke up. He instinctively grabbed his phone, making sure he had that first. He was sure he turned everything off too.

"Are you okay?" Nico questioned, briefly glancing to Levi as he pulled into the hospital car park, noticing his hands fidgeting more than usual. Levi took a deep breath, thinking about how to explain what he was feeling.

"I think so," Levi replied as Nico pulled into a parking spot and turned off the car. Nico stopped and looked to Levi, giving him a confused look whilst trying to see if something was wrong.

"You think so? Is something wrong?" Nico asked sincerely, taking hold of Levi's hand, worried that Levi didn't seem 100 per cent.

"I don't know," Levi started, looking to his boyfriend. "I just have this feeling that something is wrong or is going to go wrong but I can't tell what," Levi explained. "You probably think I'm crazy. I'm probably just overreacting," Levi mumbled, making eye contact with Nico.

"No, I don't," Nico said softly, "I can assure that right now, nothing is wrong," Nico added, smiling slightly at Levi.

"Okay," Levi breathed, "We should probably get into work," He spoke after a moment, grabbing his bag from his feet.

"You sure?" Nico asked and Levi nodded, getting out of the car. Nico watched for a second before leaning to the back seat to grab his own bag before getting out of the vehicle himself.

Levi waited for Nico to be ready to walk in before the two of them headed into the building together. Levi was quiet, his mind still on the fact that something just wasn't right while Nico was carefully watching his boyfriend. As the two of them got to the point where they were going to go different ways, Nico grabbed Levi's hand.

"If something is wrong, come find me," Nico said, keeping eye contact with Levi. "But you'll be okay, try not to overthink it," He added, giving a light squeeze to his boyfriend's hand. Levi took another deep breath, nodding softly.

"Thank you," Levi said softly, looking up to Nico before the two of them split ways.

Levi had continued on with his morning, helping out with rounds with Deluca and Casey. Everything had been normal for a while and Levi tried to continue to ignore the feeling but during checking one of the patients, Levi suddenly felt unwell, his energy feeling low and his body feeling warm.

The young doctor tried to ignore the feeling, hoping it was that he needed a drink or that he was just coming down with a cold. He continued to care for the patient and make sure all their vitals were okay, taking deep breaths while he listened to Dr Deluca and the patient converse.
