Chapter 6

Sorry it took so long to out this up I was on vacation this weekend. I uploaded another Soul Eater fanfic so enjoy this chapter!

Kids POV

"Congratulations!" Maka yelled from behind me and Cora, "To the newest partnership in Shibusen!"

"Yeah, Kid, congrats on finding another partner," Soul transformed back into his usual self from a scythe, holding out his hand for Cora to shake.

Cora shook Soul's hand and smiled weakly, "I'm Cora."

"This is Soul," I pointed to him, " And this is Maka."

"YAHOOO!" I heard Black*Star yell, making my hair stand on end, man he was annoying. He was in the air above our heads, then landed right behind Cora, "I'm Black*Star," He whispered in her ear, causing Cora to absent mindedly elbow him in the gut.

"Black*Star!"

"And this is Tsubaki," I announce.

"Black*Star!" She yelled again.

"Woah!" Maka said, looking at the sky, "It looks like the storm that's coming is going to come sooner than forcasted!"

"Storm?" Cora asked weakly.

"Yeah, the kind with lightning and thunder and hail," Soul said sarcastically.

"We'd better get home!" Maka warned.
Cora then ripped my hand out of my pocket and dragged me away.

"Hey you guys want to come over? We can watch a horror movie and wait for the storm to pass!" I offered.

"Sure," Soul said, "be there in 30!"

Cora's obviously been getting used to Death City's alleyways because she didnt ask once how to get home. When we did get back to Death Manor, I searched for a good horror movie and Cora made tea. I could see the sky getting darker and darker as time went on, and I found myself wondering where Soul and Maka were, there was a knock on the door and Soul let himself in. "Hey."

"Are Tsubaki and Black*Star coming?" Maka asked.

"I didnt ask Black*Star, I don't want him breaking the window- again. But Tsubaki said she might be late" I explained.

"Look! Lightning!" Soul pointed.

"And when theres lightning there's-" Cora gulped, then thunder clapped.

GirlsPOV

"Thunder," I frosh in place. How do I get myself out of this? I can't just leave, they'll be suspisous.

"Hey, Cora come sit," Kid offered, patting the space on the couch next to him.

"Sure i just gotta," I paused, thinking, "Go to the bathroom," I ran into my bedroom and hid in the closet, hugging my knees. I don't know how long I was in there, but it must've been long enough for people to wonder why I was in the bathroom for so long.

"Cora are you in here?" Soul's voice rang through the house, "Are you ok?" he walked down the hall and out of my hearing.

"We are getting worried!" I heard Kid yell.

I gasped as thunder clapped again, then dug my head into my pillow. Maka, I guess, heard me, because she yelled, "She's in here!"

Soul opened the door and sat next to me.
