Terence/ Excuses

I kissed Terence passionately as he had me against the wall in ROR. He had his arms wrapped around me protectively as he continued to kiss me. My hands tangled in his hair as I wanted to play with his hair.

He pulled away breathlessly with a small smirk playing on his lips. I made myself look presentable, making Terence smile, "You look like an innocent, yet beautiful, your attracting the attention of other guys."

I kissed him quickly, "I only want your attention." Terence smirk went into a goofy smile.

"Well back to pretending like we don't know each other." Terence sighed holding my waist.

I sighed softly, "And those jerks hitting on me. I wish I could say I was taken..." Terence smiled.

"Say your dating a muggle boy no a Durmstrung boy! They'll get scared!"  I nodded softly looking down. "Love don't be sad, you know I can't be with you."

I smiled, "Alright Terence well I'm meeting Cedric, Jackson, and Charlie in the courtyard." Excuses was what I wanted to say.

Terence fake pouted, "Get more girl friends. Those boys probably like you." Excuses.

"Bye Terence." I called shutting the door before walking off to the courtyard.

Am I just a joke to him? I love that boy for Helgas sake! Maybe that was his plan?... make me fall before breaking my heart! Or he liked me looks, like most boys do.

I placed a fake smile as Cedric pulled me into a smile. "What's wrong? My Hufflepuff sense are tingling." I chuckled.

"I'm alright, it's just I think my boyfriend is just giving me e-."

"Boyfriend!" Charlie yelled staring me down as did Cedric and Jackson.

I smiled innocently, "Oh yeah, well I've been dating this Durmstrung boy since summer began." The boys glared at me.

Jackson turned very offended, "You didn't tell ME this why?"

"Well we wanted to keep it a secret for a while, but I needed to tell you three at the very least."

Charlie sighed, "YN the whole courtyard heard." I looked and saw the students staring at us as the rumors began.

I sighed internally, "At least those boys who keep asking me out know I'm taken!" We began to walk to the Black Lake.

The second I stepped into the Great Hall, everyone erupted in whispers. I sat down beside Cedric and Charlie as some girls came closer to us.
"What's his name?"

I blushed when I realized the whole ball was staring at me for my answer. "That's a secret! Now big of you toasers!" Jackson yelled to the hall who grew quite.

Terence however continued to stare at me, "Thanks Jacks."

"So who is he?" They asked in sync making me scoff.

"It's a secret!" They groaned knowing when it was a secret for me, it never came out.

"Why the hell are you so mad? You told me to say that!" I defended as Terence yelled at me in an empty corridor.

Terence crosses his arms, "Yeah, to your friends and those jerks who keep flirting. Not the whole damn hall YN! Everyone talking about how your banging a Durmstrung boy!"

I scoffed, "What you want the Hall to know we're together now that they all think I'm with another boy?!" Terence nodded. Excuses.

"That's not fair! Your the one who's not totally into this relationship. Just because I'm a Hufflepuff doesn't mean you can take advantage of me!"

Terence took my hands, "That's not it, my parents will never expect us because your a Mudblood." I froze as tears began to fall as some students including my three best friends exited a class.

"Right-! I'm a Mudblood that you've been using! Your a PureBlood a higher blood statice. I'm nothing more than a Mudblood Hufflepuff that you shag!"

"YN no-." Terence began thinking I was done.

I shoved him backwards as the students came closer, "Am I a damn joke to you? Hey everyone I wasn't with a Durmstrung no I was with this Stupid Slytherin. Who I'm nothing more than a Mudblood?! I can't believe I thought I loved you! All you ever did was make up excuses, because you know what your a damn coward!" I shoved Terence into the wall before running down the corridor.

I laid in my bed crying my eyes out, there was only three other girls in my dorm. They got used to the boys coming in here at random times to complain or wait. So they left when the boys entered with a crying me.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Cedric asked as I was curled up on his lap.

I sniffed, "He didn't want me too. Because I wasn't a damn PureBlood! He used me just like all the other boys who saw my looks. But I was the stupid one who fell for it!"

Charlie rubbed my back, "Your not stupid, we can't control who we love." Charlie soothed.

I sat inside ROR hiding from all the sorrowful eyes of the students of Hogwarts. The door creaked open as Terence stepped in, red eyes. "Go away, I don't want to talk!"

Terence sighed sitting beside me, "I'm sorry I didn't mean it. Before you cut me off, I wrote my parents. About us, they hate me, but I told them that I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you." I hugged him tightly pulling him into a kiss.

I pulled away, "I'm not going to forget that easily so you have to apologize everyday."

Terence smiled at me kissing me passionately again, "I promise that I will apologize for my wrong choice of words till you forgive me." I smiled softly.

"I'm only doing this because I love you. Are you sure you want to be with a Mudblood like me?"

Terence nodded, "I would rather have you then have my father pretend to love me for marrying a PureBlood girl."

We walked out of ROR hand in hand, for the first time ever. I laid my head on Terence shoulder as we walked into the Great Hall. He placed a kiss on my cheek before walking over to the Slytherin table.

As I walked to the Hufflepuff table with a goofy smile on me face.
