A simple knock came at the door as Petunia groaned out lazily. "Francesca go get the door!" She yelled at me, I rolled my eyes about to get up.
Mum walked into the living room, "Petunia get the door yourself!" Petunia rolled her eyes and walked over to the door.
She opened the door groaned in disgust and slammed it. I shook my head at her before going to the door myself.
I smiled seeing a boy at the door, "Sorry about her, what can we do for you?" I asked him.
He smiled a bit, "I'm looking for Lilly, I need to tell her something before we start our 2nd year."
I sighed, "I'm staring my 1st year soon, but Lilly's at someone's named James Poster or was is Porter? Anyways she's out."
He seemed to chuckle at the name, "His names James Porster actually." I giggled at his eye roll, "I'm just kidding it's Potter."
I nodded softly, "Can you tell me about Hogwarts? Lilly said I have to see it. But I can't wait! I've been reading Hogwarts a History, but there has to be more."
The boy smiled, "Sure! Come on, we can go down by the lake. Oh I'm Severus Snape by the way!"
"Francesca Evans, pleasure." I turned back grabbing my coat, "Mum, Tuni I'll be down by the lake." I shut the door and followed the slightly taller boy.
————— Next Day I had agreed to meet Severus again today, so I grabbed my coat. Lilly came down from her room, "Where are you going, YN?"
I grinned, "I'm going to meet a friend." She nodded with a smile.
"Tell her I said, hi."
I scoffed, "Don't assume things Lilly, I'm meeting Severus."
Her eyes widened, "My Severus?"
I cocked my head to the side, "He's not 'your' Severus. And yes he was your friend first. He came over yesterday when you were with his arch nemesis. Well by Lilly!"
I closed the door and skipped over to the lake, having my red orange hair in a side braid. —————— Day of Hogwarts I held onto Severus and Lilly's arms as we boarded the train. It was so crowded with people yelling goodbyes and hellos. "Oi, Evans!"
We looked to see four boys clad in Gryffindor uniforms. They eyed me, "So this is younger Evans, I'm James, that's Remus, that's Sirius and he's Peter. We're the Marauders."
