Beca would run through the door of their hotel room to find Chloe nowhere to be seen. Just as she'd put her hands in her pockets to leave again to go searching for the redhead she'd hear someone sniffle from the en-suite bathroom. Closing the door slowly she'd then walk over to where the door to the en-suite was closed.

Knocking lightly on the door she'd speak softly, "Chlo? Can you open the door?"

"Please just go Beca", Chloe would be sat with her back resting on the other side of the door, wiping under her eyes and her nose using the back of her hand.

"Please I can actually explain this to you, I promise", Beca would rest her forehead against the door balling her hands into fists tightly as she'd feel frustrated.

Chloe would sling the door open holding onto it as she'd look angry at Beca who'd be shocked that the door opened that quickly. "Really? You have an explanation?", she'd storm past Beca towards the bed now, "How many times do I need to hear these explanations until it gets to the point where they don't mean anything?"

Beca would watch Chloe now who'd be shaking her head and wiping the tears that continued to fall slowly down her cheeks. "Chlo, I had to do it.. Richard spoke to me before I went on and said that I had to-"

"So he told you that you had to lie about our relationship?", she'd smirk still feeling angry. "He forced you to hide us to the world or did he give you the choice and you chose to lie?", she'd cross her arms now waiting for her answer.

"He uh-", Beca would run a hand down her face feeling annoyed at herself now, "Look what do you want me to do? Yes he gave me the choice.. He told me that it would only be for a couple months while the album is first released because it will help with sales and fans"

"That and the fact that you don't want people to know about me.. You're ashamed to-", Chloe would break down falling onto the bed as she'd put her head in her hands.

"No! Never, okay?", Beca would kneel down in front of her taking Chloe's hand away from her face to hold onto as she'd interrupt her. "I told you and will tell you everyday that I love you because that's the truth", she'd wipe away the tear from Chloe's cheek using her thumb, "I always want to show you off and make guys realise that you are not single because for some reason you want to be with me", she'd lean up kissing Chloe's forehead. "It's just for a couple months when we are out in public that's all, I promise"

"I don't want to be hidden away, I don't want to think twice about holding your hand when we're walking down the street and-", she'd sniff, calming down now.

"I swear to you that once those two months are up I'm going to announce to the whole world that I, Beca Mitchell", she'd stand up now dragging Chloe with her who'd show her a small smile, "am in love with the most beautiful, funny, sexy and clever Chloe Beale!", she'd shout at the top of her lungs now with her arms outstretched and a huge smile on her face.

Chloe would chuckle softly as she'd finally stop crying and would run into Beca's arms hugging her tightly, resting her head on Beca's shoulder. "I love you", she'd whisper next to Beca's ear before pulling back slightly to peck her lips gently.

"I won't mess up again", she'd smile holding Chloe close to her with her arms wrapped around her waist and Chloe's resting around her neck. "And if I do I want you to just teach me a lesson and leave", she'd smirk.

"I'll hold you to that", Chloe would wink causing both girls to laugh lightly. "But please don't mess up anymore cause it's getting exhausting"

...

"What are we doing today?", Chloe would be breathing heavily laying next to Beca who'd be the same after the girls christened the morning in the only way they know how.

Beca would put her hand through Chloe's hair as the redhead would move to cuddle her wrapping an arm across her waist. "My Dad wants to see me", she'd sigh rolling her eyes.

"I didn't know your Dad lived in New York", Chloe furrow her eyebrows slightly.

"Yeah that's how I know my way around this maze of a city", she'd smirk starting to get up now to get ready.

"Well, do you want some company?", Chloe would lean up on her elbow resting her head on her hand as she'd watch the small brunette move around the hotel room getting dressed.

"No that's okay, I won't let him bore you to death", she'd wink over at Chloe after pulling on a jumper looking around for her coat now.

Chloe would smile back at her, "I'll spend the day with Aubrey then she just text me saying that Jesse is hungover from meeting up with some boys from college last night", she'd glance down at her phone before looking back up.

"Didn't realise Benji and Bumper were in town", she'd shrug her shoulders putting on her coat as she'd walk back over to the bed. "I can't believe I'm leaving a naked girl in my bed to go and see my boring Dad", she'd lean over Chloe pecking her lips gently before moving down to kiss her neck softly.

"You need to leave before I make sure that you stay here the whole day with me instead", Chloe would moan slightly as she'd move her head up to give Beca better access.

Beca would groan and sigh against Chloe before moving and standing up, running her fingers through her hair, "Okay okay, I'm going now". She'd grab her phone and hotel key from the side leaving the room but not before shouting out, "Love you!", as the door would shut.

A short taxi ride later Beca would find herself stood outside of a small suburban two-story house belonging to her father. She'd walk up to knock on the front door as she'd wait for someone to answer. Looking up as the door would open she'd be met with her step-mother Sheila smiling back at her. "Hey step-monster", Beca would smirk smiling as she'd step into the house.

"I wish you wouldn't call me that Beca", she'd roll her eyes taking Beca's coat as she'd hand it to her. "Ben your daughter is here to see you!", she'd walk off to hang Beca's coat up.

"It was a joke", Beca would shake her head rolling her eyes as she'd watch Sheila walk away and then notice her Dad coming down the stairs.

"My daughter? I don't have a daughter?", he'd furrow his eyebrows looking over at Beca then smiling at her as he'd reach her, "Oh wait it's just cause I haven't seen you in so long I don't remember what you look like", he'd hug her now.

"Always a delight Dad", she'd smile forcefully back up at him before following him into the living room and sitting down.

"So how's everything with the music? I actually saw you on Jimmy Fallon the other day when Sheila was watching it", he'd lean back in his seat looking over at his daughter as Sheila would now join next to him.

"You saw that? Uh- yeah everything is really good at the minute actually, I've got the music going well and I'm seeing-", Beca would lean forward as she'd smile starting to tell her Dad about the recent few months.

"That's great! Did you hear about your cousin Rachel getting married?", Ben would interrupt her now causing Beca to stop with her mouth open and leant forward.

Beca would subtly roll her eyes sitting back and crossing her arms before answering, "Yes I already knew that... when is it?"

"End of February, I have your invite in my office", he'd point his thumb behind him showing where his office was.

"Interesting", she'd mumble trying to hold down the anger she felt for her father.

"Obviously there is a plus one on your invite but you won't need that", he'd smirk glancing at his wife next to him who was smiling back at him before looking over at Beca who had her eyebrow raised at them both.

"Well, actually I'm-", she'd go to lean forward again before being interrupted again by Sheila this time.

"Anyway, Beca could you help by setting the table for lunch while I bring in the food and you're Dad makes the drinks", she'd get up now followed closely by Ben.

"Sure", Beca would sigh standing up and watching them walk out of the room toward the dining area. She'd shake her head looking down at the ground as she'd then follow them to start setting the table.
