The next morning Beca and Chloe would be in the middle of still celebrating moving in together. They would be stopped suddenly by the sound of the front door slamming shut from downstairs. Beca would look over her shoulder furrowing her eyebrows at the sound before looking back down at Chloe who would be lying underneath her. "Oh I need to remind you to get the locks checked today", she'd wink at her girlfriend, moving a piece of hair out of her face and tucking it behind her ear.
"I swear to god if that's my Mom again-", Beca would move to get out of bed, grabbing a t shirt and jogging bottoms on the way.
"Beca? Chloe?", Aubrey would shout out from downstairs.
"Even worse it's your bestfriend", Beca would smirk as she'd pull the t shirt over her head, sitting at the end of the bed now with Chloe still behind her under the covers.
"Hey", Chloe would hit her with the pillow now as she'd laugh and move herself out of bed. "She's your boss too, remember"
"Girls.. Wedding meeting downstairs in 3 minutes, let's go", Aubrey would knock on the bedroom door before walking back downstairs.
"I'm scared", Beca would look up as Chloe would be stood in front of her.
"Awh badass Beca Mitchell is scared?", Chloe would smirk as she'd wink down at the brunette.
"Do we have to go downstairs?", Beca would pull Chloe in by the waist so she'd fall into her lap again.
"Yes, we only have a couple of minutes before she comes in here and drags us downstairs", Chloe would close her eyes and take a deep breath as she'd feel Beca start to kiss across her shoulder and neck.
"A couple minutes?", Beca would whisper in between kisses, "I'm up for the challenge", she'd smirk before moving Chloe's face to kiss her lips.
"Mhm..", Chloe would pull away, "Come on, let's go", she'd get up dragging Beca with her by the hand.
"This better be good", Beca would mumble as she'd follow her girlfriend out of their bedroom to go downstairs.
...
"So not worth being disrupted this morning", Beca would flick through the list that Aubrey had handed out as her and Jesse would be walking down the sidewalk past some shops.
"Stop being so miserable", Jesse would nudge her before taking the list from her to look at.
"I'm not but why have we been given all of this stuff to look at and get sorted when all they're doing is trying on dresses and picking out a cake", she'd groan before following him into a clothing store.
"Shut up and try on your tux", he'd push her into a changing room after greeting the woman that would be helping them.
After trying on her tuxedo and getting the final measurements and alterations fixed along with Jesse, the two of them would make their way towards the next item on the list. "Can we get some food on the way?", Beca would look down at her phone, checking her messages.
"We can do after", he'd open a door to the jewellery store now, "In here next".
Beca would walk into the store instantly looking around at all the different cases of jewellery on sale. She'd then follow Jesse to the front counter as a tall older looking man would walk over to greet them. "Good morning, how can I help you today?", he'd smile at them both as he'd fold his hands in front of him.
"Hi, I have two wedding bands that I'm picking up today", Jesse would smile back at him with his hands in his jacket pockets.
"Certainly, can I take your surname sir?"
"Swanson", he'd glance down at Beca as the man would walk off into the back to see her looking down into the case at the rings in front of her. "See any you like?", he'd smirk as he'd elbow her side, bringing her out of her daydream.
"Huh? Oh uh.. I was just browsing while waiting for you", she'd clear her throat before walking off to look at another case which held necklaces, watches, rings and bracelets. She'd find herself looking at one piece in particular, moving her face closer to the glass to get a better look.
"Would you like to look at any of our pieces here?", a young girl not much older than 17 was smiling at Beca from behind the glass case.
"Hey, I was just looking at that one there", she'd smile a little before pointing and looking back down.
"Good choice", the girl would use a key to unlock the door of the case before taking the ring and putting it on top for Beca to now look more closely at, "This is one of the more popular engagement rings we stock in store"
"It's uhm.. It's very nice", she'd glance up at the girl before back down at the ring. Taking it out of the small box now she'd hold it in between her fingers noticing the two smaller diamonds either side of the slightly bigger one in the middle.
"Would you like to put an order in?"
...
Later in the afternoon, Beca and Jesse would join Aubrey and Chloe at the venue of where the wedding was being held the following week. "Do not let my wedding rings out of your sight! That is your main job as my best person", he'd mumble as they'd walk through the hotel reception to a function room.
As they'd walk in to the room they would see it all set up with the tables decorated as they would be surrounding the dance floor. The top table set up next to a small table where the cake will be stood. Beca would see Chloe sat at the top table next to Aubrey as they'd both be talking and pointing down at a piece of paper in front of them.
"This looks amazing", Jesse would smile as he'd spin around the middle of the dancefloor before walking over to where the two girls were sat. They'd both look up and smile at him before getting up from the table.
"You like it?", she'd walk round to meet him with a kiss.
"I love it, not as much as I love you though", he'd kiss her again.
"I think I'm gonna be sick", Beca would mumble loud enough for everyone to hear as she'd have her hands wrapped around Chloe's waist. The redhead would hit Beca playfully on the shoulder before returning her hands to rest around her neck.
"Let them enjoy their moment?", Chloe would raise her eyebrow at Beca before leaning in to peck her lightly on the lips.
"Wanna see what we picked up today?", Beca would smile before reaching into her jacket pocket to bring out the ring box holding Jesse and Aubrey's wedding bands.
"Oh my god, are you proposing?", Aubrey would speak up. She'd clap her hands together and jump on the spot as she'd smile.
"I would not propose like this Posen", Beca would smirk as she'd roll her eyes taking a step back now.
"Well, how would you propose then?", Chloe would cross her arms across her chest looking over at her girlfriend.
"Well uh..", Beca would gulp nervously as she'd look at Chloe before glancing over at Jesse and Aubrey to find them both sniggering and smiling at her. "We're a long way off of that yet so..", she'd smirk and shrug her shoulders as she'd put the ring box back in her pocket.
"Oh yeah? I caught you earlier-"
"Shut it Swanson", Beca would point her finger at Jesse who'd put his hands up in surrender, smiling still. "Chlo, let's go.. We need to get home for Bailey", she'd turn back to Chloe, holding her hand before walking off.
"See you later guys", Chloe would wave at them both as she'd follow the singer out of the room.
