Chloe would burst through the hospital doors, sprinting over to the front desk, shortly followed by Aubrey and Jesse. Chloe wouldn't be crying anymore but was still panicking and worrying as she'd walk over to the receptionist. "Hi, m-my uh..", she'd stutter as she'd try to get the words out. "Beca Mitchell, I need to see her", she'd spit out.
"I'm sorry only family members are able to visit at the minute-", the woman behind the counter would start to explain.
"I'm her fiance", Chloe would cut her off. "Please I need to be in there and knowing what is happening", she'd start to plead.
"Okay fine, she is in surgery at the minute but you can go through and wait for the doctor to tell you an update"
"Thank you", Chloe would smile before walking through to the large waiting area where family and friends were allowed to wait. All three of them would walk through, noticing Ben and Dan sat waiting as well. They'd go over to meet them, both men standing up as soon as they saw Chloe rushing over. "Have you heard anything?"
"No not yet", Dan would put his arm around her shoulder, letting her bury her face into his shirt as she'd feel herself crying again.
"They went in around 20 minutes ago", Ben would tell them all as they'd sit back down.
"Has anyone phoned Beca's Mom?", Chloe would wipe her nose across the back of her hand, pulling away from Dan now.
"She's on her way, I phoned her on the way to the hospital", Dan would nod his head.
"So we just wait?", Chloe would stand up again and now start to pace in front of them all.
"The doctor said he'd be out every half an hour with updates so it shouldn't be much longer", Dan would watch her walking up and down.
...
A few hours later, Beca would start to open her eyes as the anaesthesia would wear off. She'd hear machines beeping and could hear a deep voice talking to her. Now focusing on her surroundings she'd realise she was laying in a hospital bed and the doctor was stood next to her.
"Beca? Can you hear me?", he'd ask her.
"Yeah Doc, loud and clear", she'd close her eyes again a little as she'd feel a headache start.
"How are you feeling? We'll give you some painkillers for that headache", he'd be writing notes down on the paperwork in front of him.
"What's the damage?", Beca would open her eyes to see a nurse stood on the other side of the bed now, holding out two tablets and a glass of water. The singer would take the medication, before glancing down to see her leg in a cast as well as her arm.
"You're lucky to be alive kid", the doctor would start to explain, "You've broken your tibia as well as your humerus. Some internal bleeding but that was fixed through surgery and you've got mild concussion", he'd put the clipboard back in the holder at the end of her bed.
"How long am I gonna be like this?", she'd watch him walk back over to stand next to her.
"We'll discharge you in a couple of days, we just want to keep an eye on everything make sure the concussion is nothing worse", he'd smile a little now. "Then you'll be in leg cast for 6 months and your arm cast will come off in 4", he'd nod his head. "I'll give you a minute", he'd walk out of the room now, followed by the nurse who'd close the door, leaving her alone.
Beca would look over to see the IV drip feeding down a tube into her arm, hearing her pulse beep through the heart monitor. She'd take a deep breath, letting her head fall back on the pillow as she'd close her eyes again.
"Becs?"
Beca would open her eyes instantly, hearing the voice she would recognise anywhere. Looking over at the door of her room she'd see Chloe stood, tears brimming in her eyes as she'd scan over Beca looking at her injuries. "Chloe?", Beca would move her head up a little as she'd watch the redhead walk over to her now.
"Hi baby", Chloe would start to cry again now as she'd reach the bed, sitting on top of it as she'd look over the injuries once more. "Look at you", she'd sigh before looking back at Beca, seeing the bandage wrapped across her head and small cuts over her face and shoulder.
"I'm such an idiot", Beca would roll her eyes, smirking a little as she'd look up at Chloe.
"No, no it's okay", Chloe would smile a little now, putting a hand on the bed next to Beca's arm as she'd lean over her slightly. "I don't know what I would of done if I lost you", she'd put her free hand over her chest as she'd laugh a little back seeing Beca smile. "Part of me wanted to be mad at you forever", she'd lean down to hug Beca now, kissing her shoulder softly as she'd feel Beca's arm reach around her.
"You can't get rid of me that easy", Beca would whisper against Chloe's hair as she'd breath in her scent, smiling even more now.
"I'm not letting you go ever again", Chloe would mumble, sighing happily as she'd feel Beca's hold on her tighten around her.
"I'm sorry about every-"
"Hey, hey", Chloe would sit back up a little, putting a hand on Beca's cheek as she'd smile softly. "I believe you", she'd rub her thumb across her skin, "I trust you", she'd lean down to kiss her lightly not wanting to hurt her.
"You still wanna marry me?", Beca would smirk as she'd watch Chloe sit up fully this time, nodding her head. "Did they bring my clothes and stuff in?", she'd look around the room now.
"Yeah, it's in this bag here", Chloe would get up to grab the bag from the side before handing it over to Beca. She'd watch the brunette dig through the bag to grab her jeans, then locating the pocket and putting her hand inside. Chloe would gasp a little as she'd see Beca pull out her engagement ring from the pocket. "You had the ring with you?"
"I had it with me at all times", she'd smile, putting the bag back on the floor as she'd take hold of Chloe's hand. "May I?", she'd watch Chloe bite on her lip and nod again before sliding the ring back on her finger.
