"I'm good Jhene." I said as she checked my wound, she completely ignored me. It was day 5 and I was alright, I wasn't even feeling this shit no more. She wrapped my torso up again and I sighed.
"Stay wrapped Chris please." She said.
"Fine."
"She just worried about you nephew, that's how it is with the women they stay on our asses we stay on our shit." Uncle Nipsey patted my back. "Women make this world go round man, we all got our own forms on how we protect each other believe it or not our women around the world protect their family just as much if not more than us niggas we just don't ever see it so it goes unappreciated." He said
"I feel you unc." Dave said finishing his eggs.
"You find a woman worth your time you gotta see the shit they do to protect you maybe not physically, but spiritually, and emotionally. I ain't talkin about no just telling the police you ain't have shit to do with shit type shit-"
"Say shit again Nipsey." Mila gritted
He laughed, "Baby I-"
"No because how you go from Jhene protecting Chris to keeping a woman that'll protect you and all that other deep shit you talkin?" She asked
"Damn...ion know." He said seriously trying to remember and everybody busted out laughing his face stayed confused he continued to try and remember.
"Anyways, Dave, Kehlani lets go school." Brit said coming from upstairs she looked good.
"Jhene already taking us Brit." Kehlani replied
"Oh no it's fine Jhene really it's right on the way I class." Brit said
"Same here boo, you can just ride with us I'm coming back here after class, aren't you?" Jhene asked and Brit nodded.
"I guess that's fine." Brit kisses my cheek
"Have a great day at school babies!" Mila shouted after all of them. Mila had a law degree, she's worked every side of the law, she quit her job once Kurupt died. But she still owns a law firm. Mila gets her own money, she doesn't depend on uncle Nipsey for anything and I think that's what made unc settle down with her because if shit got bad? Mila always had a huge ass check coming in legally so they would never be down bad as long as Mila had anything to do with it.
"So which one you gone pick man?" Nipsey asked. "Brittany or Jhene?" He asked
"What you mean Unc?" I asked laughing
"Come on we know you and Jhene gone end up together, but Brit is a great asset to this family, you seem to like her a lot, just not enough." Mila rebuttals
"What a great way to put it babe." Uncle Nipsey said kissing her cheek.
"I think I'm good with Brit I'm not tryina ruin Jhene's life."
"Boy bye that girl already in this life, she gone always be right by your side, she's always gonna worry she's always gonna be the one to get out her sleep to come get you out of whatever trouble you in, she gone wanna always know wassup Chris plus you guys would be cute together." Mila said smiling
