Day 4

I wake up to the sound of my lovely alarm clock *sarcasm*. I reach over and turn it off. I went into my closet and picked out a pair of black skinny jeans and a white shirt. I also grabbed my white converse.

I went into the bathroom and did all my normal stuff and changed. I grabbed my backpack and waited for my dear friend Katherine to call. When she did I went outside and noticed how cold it was.

It was October, but I lived in a more suburban area of New York so it was a bit(a lot) chilly today. I got in the car quickly hoping to warm up, all I had was a short sleeve shirt so I was cold.

When we get to school I go in and put my bag in my locker. While I'm doing that I see a little card I take it and open it.

'Um hi I just wanted to tell you I won't be at the park I'm keeping my promise to you and am going to try and enjoy my time with Aleisha.'

I sadden a little at the note, but throw it back in my locker wanting the day to be over soon. I walk to class and go through my day normally until around lunch time. I wait for Lindsay to come back with her lunch tray.

While I was waiting Luke came and sat by me. I glared at him and he moved over a seat and I nodded. He turned to look at me and asked "did you get my note?" I nod. He looks at my wrist and sees the bandaid. He looks at me like he's about to cry.

  "Why'd you do it I thought you promised." He asks sounding like he's holding back tears. "It was just one usually I do more than that. And why do you care?" I ask a bit rudely, but my mind is always questioning why The Luke Hemmings hangs out with me.

"Okay well that's progress I guess. And I care because I L- I'm your friend." He sounded like he was about to say something else, but I shrug it off. Lindsay comes and almost drops her plate surprised to see Luke sitting at the table.

She sits down and says "Hi I'm Lindsay." She puts her hand out and he shakes it. Lindsay was always nice to everyone another thing to add to her perfectness.

Luke laughs and shakes her hand. I watch in jealousy as they make a nice conversation. "Hey Lu why don't you eat lunch?" Luke asks looking at me. I shrug and lie saying "Oh I'm just never hungry." He didn't look like he believed me.

So he got close to my ear which made me nervous. "We'll talk about it later." He whispers I look away hiding the reddening of my cheeks.

He gets up and leaves joining the popular group at the other end of the huge cafeteria. I look at Lindsay and she is in dreamland ogling over how she just spoke to Luke Hemmings. I giggle and head to my next class when I hear the bell ring.

*at home,after school*

I debated on wether I should go to the park and decided I would go a bit later. I was finishing up all my homework that was due tomorrow, Friday.

I look at the clock and it reads 4:00 I hurry and finish then grab my phone and earbuds and a jacket so i won't be as cold. I open the door to my house and start heading to the park. As I'm walking i remember Luke's not gonna be there and I sadden, but think at least he'll have a nice date with Aleisha and won't question me about lunch.

When I get to the park no one is there as I suspected. I go to the swings and think how in 3 days I managed to make friends with the popular senior of my school. I spent a while at the park just thinking.

Then my phone rang interrupting my peace. "Hello?" I ask "Hi sweetie I'm gonna be out late tonight at a friends birthday and your brother is working so your alone tonight."

I smile and say "Okay thanks for telling me." She the replies with "Yeah you know where the food is and everything see you tomorrow, love you!" Then she hangs up.

I start walking home because it was getting even colder at night. I was currently blasting music and dancing around like an idiot just enjoying my alone time. I was wearing some pajama shorts and a big Australian jersey I stole from my brother.

I freeze and turn off the music when I hear the not so familiar sound of my doorbell, see we didn't get a lot of company so I walk to the door and peek out the window and see...... OH MY GOSH Luke Hemmings at my door while I'm in my pajamas.

I run to get my key and open the door to my house only a little and poking my head out hiding my body behind the door. Luke looked really nice even though he was just in black skinny jeans and a red flannel. It was cute because he buttoned it all the way to the top.

"Like what you see?" Luke asks me, I blush in embarrassment and ask "Have you already gone on your date?"

  "Uh yeah, but I came by because I didn't get to see you at the park, is everything alright why are you hiding behind the door?" He asks looking confused.

I respond saying "It's just I'm in my pajamas and I don't want you to see. I would invite you in, but..... I've only known you 4 days." Luke laughs and says "oh it's fine, but at least come out from behind the door."

I shake my head feeling insecure about everything now. "Come on. I won't judge." He tries moving the door, but I was not letting it go.

After a few minutes I couldn't hold it anymore and I moved from behind the door. Luke looked me up and down. He's probably just starring at me in disgust. I think while I wait for him to talk.

  "So.... About lu-" He starts talking but I cut him off by saying "well it's late you should get going it was nice talking to you. Bye." I wave and close the door I look out the window seeing him stand for a few seconds annoyed then see him get in his black fancy car and drive away.

I release a breath I didn't know I was holding and walk to my room. I go straight to my bed scroll through tumblr for about an hour and finally go to sleep.
