Day 33

Friday, we kiss in the rain.

I wake up from my loud alarm clock, I immediately slam my hand on it to shut it up. I turn it off and walk to the bathroom doing my daily routine, then I walk into my small room picking out my clothes. I throw on a blue shirt that says L.A. in cream, laced letters, a cream colored skirt and white converse.

   I grab my backpack and phone, then walk out the door of my home. When I get outside I see Luke leaning against the hood of his car. I smile lightly then walk over to him. "Hi Lu." He whispers, cupping my face and leaning our foreheads together.

   I stick my pointer fingers in the loops of his black skinny jeans and smile again. I look into his beautiful blue eyes watching as an emotion takes over, love. I nudge our noses together and stand lightly on my tip toes as he continues making us closer by connecting our lips.

   He tasted like mint and his lips were as soft as silk. He pushes my head closer to him so that he is kissing me harder. I smile, but push him away saying "We need to get to school." He groans, but obliges, driving us to school.

When we get to school I hope out of the car, waiting for Luke. As I'm waiting I get a text from my mom saying

'YOUR COUSINS GETTING MARRIED!!! We're gonna be traveling to l.a. tomorrow so get ready!'

I groan seeing Luke reading the text over my shoulder. He smirks and says "ohhh can I come?" I roll my eyes and say "No luke, first of all you have to pay for your own ticket and second I don't want you meeting my crazy family!"

   He laughs still smirking. "Come on Lu, you know I can pay and who cares! I want to meet your family." He says, I look down fidgeting with my fingernails. He looks at me with anticipation for my answer "Fine. Let me ask my mom."

   He smiles widely then picks me up in a hug spinning me around. I blushed a bright red seeing a lot of kids looking at us. Luke just grabs my hand as we walk into the hell hole of school.

*skip school*

Me and Luke were currently driving to somewhere unknown, but it seemed familiar. I get excited when I see New York City! "Awww babe!!!!! Thank you!!"

   I give him the best hug I could since he was driving. He smiles and says "Of course Lu, I love seeing you happy." When we get to the city we park in front of a small café and hop out if his car. He walks over to me intwining our hands slowly making sparks shoot up my arm and through my whole body.

   "Now, we can do whatever we want today. Shopping, eating, whatever you want." Luke says pulling me on to a sidewalk filled with shops and restaurants. I smile before saying "Okay! I just want to walk around and window shop." He nods and we begin walking around.

   I stare at all the huge buildings and the cars driving around the city. It was amazing and beautiful. "So are you gonna ask your mom about me coming to the wedding???" Luke asks, snapping me out of the trance I was in "Ugh I thought you were kidding!"

   He laughs loudly making some people stare at us, before replying "No! Now call your mom this instance and ask!" He pulls me into a hug and kisses my head before pulling my phone out of my back pocket and handing it to me. "Eager much!" I say making Luke blush and nod quickly.

I dial my mothers number and wait for the ringing to end. "Hello? Luna?" She asks on the other end, I roll my eyes before saying in a fake cheerful tone "Yup. Hi mom! I have a question about the wedding."

     I hear shuffling then she says "Okay, what is it?" I sigh then reply "Well you know Luke right? Well I was wondering if he could come to the wedding with us-" I get cut off by Luke screaming "AS HER DATE!"

    My mom laughs before saying "Well he'll have to pay for his ticket, but sure. He did save your life... So why not?" I smile before saying "Yay! Thanks okay love you mom, bye!" I hang up and jump into Luke's arms smiling.

"Yay!! Baby I get to go with you!!!!" Luke says into my ear I nod even though he can't see, but I knew he could feel it. All of a sudden I feel something wet hit the top of my head making me look up.

   It was starting to rain, I smile, but them say "Luke I think we need to buy an umbrella." He looks up squinting adorably and says "Yup probably."

   I laugh and we walk into a little shop, the cashiers were a little old couple who sold souvenirs, clothes, snacks, umbrellas! Etc... We walk in and go over to the umbrellas, there was a glasses stand next to them and when I turn around from grabbing an umbrella I see Luke wearing the weird glasses with the nose, eyebrows and mustache making me crack up.

   He then puts on the famous New York souvenir glasses making me clutch my stomach from laughing so hard. He then puts them on me before grabbing me by the waist and pulling me close. "Beautiful."

    He whispers against my forehead causing me to look up and for our lips to collide. We stand there a bit just kissing until I remember there was an older couple there. I tickle Luke's sides making him pull away giggling. "There's an old couple here come on!"

    I grab Luke's hand and begin pulling him towards the register, but before I get there I feel Luke playfully smack my butt causing me to turn around and hit him with the umbrella I had picked out. It was just a simple black one.
  
    We finally make it to the register and I say "I'm so sorry about that." The older lady laughs and says "oh no sweetie it's okay. We used to be like that. And you two are cute!" She smiles sweetly as she finishes causing me to blush and Luke to wrap his arms around my waist and put his head on my shoulder.

   I see the old couple kiss then scan our one item. "1.20 please." I'm about to find my money, but Luke pulls out his wallet and gives the lady $2.00 "Keep the change!" Luke says quickly grabbing the umbrella and pulls me out the door as I wave to the elderly couple. We run out into the rain and walk along the street that has trees planted every so often.

I was holding the umbrella when Luke asks "Can I try something?" I smirk and say "Depends on what it is." He laughs before pulling me by the waist ,into his chest. "What are you do-"

   I'm cut off by his lips on mine. He grabs my hand that was holding the umbrella and slowly moves it so I'm holding it to the ground, uncovering us so the rain is hitting our skin. It had to be one of the best kisses ever. Feeling the rain and his lips, two of my favorite things mix together, it was a picture perfect moment. I smile into the kiss making Luke smile too.

   We both pull away breathing heavily and also soaking wet. "Now that was the perfect kiss." Luke says. I laugh, nodding my head in agreement. "Yes it was." It went into an awkward silence as I wrapped my arms around his neck and his still around my waist until he asks "Sooo... Want to do it again?" I don't even answer, I just move his head to face me and kiss him, this one better than the last.
