Day 31

Wednesday, I go back to school.

I wake up to the sound of pitted pattering on the roof, in the early morning. I stand up slowly then walk over to my window and see it raining roughly outside.

   I put a small smile on enjoying the relaxing sound going through my room as I slowly start to get ready for school. Yeah I have to go to school today because I can now walk properly, but I have to use a 5 minute pass or I will be trampled by everyone.

   Luke had taken care of me all of yesterday and I think about how we are together. The thought made me smile, sure it would take a while to trust him again, but he made me happy and I needed that in my life right now.

    I put on my make up then put on a white 'parental advisory' hoodie, jeans and black and whit converse. I was way too tired to even try. I grab my backpack and phone then begin to walk out my door NOT ready to face the day ahead of me.

When I walk out I see Luke leaning against the good of his car in a hoodie and sweats. Oh wow did he look good, it made me weak at the knees.

    I walk over to him and put my hands on each side of his torso, then look up at him with a weird smile and say "Hello." He laughs at my face, leaning down to kiss my lips then he says "Hi baby. You ready?"

   I immediately shake my head and say "No. I'm scared of what people are gonna say." Luke looks like he's about to punch something before he puts on a relaxed face and says "don't worry. If anyone talks to you or even glances at you funny they won't be at school tomorrow."

   I roll my eyes at his 'tough boy' act and punch his chest playfully. I hop in the car as does Luke and we begin our journey to school.

When we get there everyone and I mean everyone is staring at the car. I gulp as Luke walks round to my side and pulls me by my hand out of the car.

   He wraps his arm immediately around my waist and grabs my hand with his free hand. I hear everyone whispering and talking. I feel Luke tense at something I couldn't hear so I squeeze his hand and whisper "It's all right." But he shakes his head and quickly pulls me to our first period.

*skip school day*

All day I had gotten either death glares or just glances. I hated it, but no one said a word to me. Not even my friends. I sadly walk out of school and go to Lukes car, I see him and run go him. I was just planning on hugging him, but he had other plans.

   He lifts me up making me wrap my legs around his torso and him hold me by my bum. I noticed he liked my bum a lot. I gently put my hands on the back of his neck and am breathing heavily.

   I could see my breathe in the cold New York air. Luke laughs at my concentrations on the air and then kisses my nose, gently setting me to my feet and hopping into his car.

We drove to the ...... Playground. I could feel myself start to glow a little as I saw the swing set I missed dearly. I hop out when the car is parked and walk as fast as I could to it.

I watch as the beautiful girl I get to call mine, walks to the swinger and starts to swing like a child. I hop out of the car and walk to her, my heart starts to beat faster and she's so oblivious to what she can do to me with even the slightest touch. She's about to swing forward, but I stand in front of her and catch her by the legs playfully, nudging our noses together.

"I love you Lu." I whisper and she says for the first time in a while "I love you too Luke." I kiss her and I felt like whenever I did, I felt more sparks, more love than the last and it just keeps getting better. We pull away for a breath and I see her cheeks are red from the cold, but her face seemed so pure. She was like an angel and I'll never forget how we met at this playground.
