Day 37

Tuesday, we go back to school.

I wake up to the sound of the usual New York rain. I missed it. I walk to my closet throwing on a black shirt, maroon sweater,jeans and black combat boots. I go to the bathroom doing my daily routine, then walking out the door with my backpack and phone. I see Luke pull into my driveway opening the passenger door from his seat allowing me to get in. I smile lightly and say "Hey and thank you." He grins, backing out of my driveway, I grab his hand and he almost crashes into some bins near the street, making me laugh. He blushes as we continue the silent drive to jail 'high school'. When we hop out I'm about to just start walking until Luke decides to run behind me, picking me up twirling me around making me laugh. He puts me down, walking beside me having his left arm around my waist, my right arm around his torso and my left hand holding his right (sorry if that's complicated).

*after an uneventful school day*

Lucas decided to take me to the playground after school making me scream in excitement as I dash out of his car with my arms spread out. Luke follows quickly behind as I crawl to the top of the monkey bars I loved oh so much. "Geez Lu you're a spider monkey." I just roll my eyes waiting for him to come up, when he does, he sits next to me wrapping an arm around my shoulders and me to lean my head on his shoulder. After a second I decide to ask a few questions I had been thinking about since the trip, "Soooo Luke..... I have a few questions." He has a bit of a worried expression on his face as he says "Is it serious?" I shrug my shoulders as he says "Okay shoot."

"Well one is, during the trip you said you had a dream about us being married, do you think we'll ever actually you know..-" Luke cuts me off saying "Get married? Lu I honestly believe we will, one day." A big smile on his face as he stares at me. "Okay the next question is, what's gonna happen to us after we graduate? Are you gonna go to college, are you gonna try and pursue your music career? What?" Luke seems to tense at this question and I sigh. "Sorry I asked." I whisper, but he just lifts my face to his kissing my lips gently, before pulling away saying "Don't be sorry Lu and I don't know what's gonna happen. I think I'll go to college maybe work on my music, but no matter what I'll always have time for you. No matter what happens, it's always gonna be me and you. Okay?" I smile pretty big, you could even see my teeth "Okay."

Eventually we decide to leave the playground and head over to our building in New York City ,which is where we currently were. Chilling on the roof of the tall skyscraper. People looked like ants, I thought to myself as I leaned over the edge, I hear a click making me look at Luke who was smirking proudly as he looked down at his phone. I glare at him, but he just looks up making kissy faces. I just make a funny face, then go back to looking at the ground. Looking at every detail, making out every outline of below. Then I feel Luke grabbing my waist and leaning on top of me, It looked weird, but hey we were a weird could it was okay. Luke kissed my ear then behind it then my neck making me push his big head away. I stand up grabbing his face and say "Why are you so god damn cute?!?" He blushes placing his hands on mine as I kiss his nose, standing lightly on my tip toes. Then I wrap my arms around his neck, pulling him into the tightest hug ever. He hugs me back just as forcefully, making me feel secure. Luke started to rock are bodies lightly from side to side. This was a truly pure and perfect moment.
