Prom/Epilogue

Saturday, prom.

♡Luna♡

I wake up to no alarm clock and no Lucas. Today, was prom. I was excited, but mostly scared. I went to my closet throwing on a gray off the shoulder sweater, yoga pants and some slip on vans. I grab my phone, walking out my front door quietly.

I walk to the playground, smiling when I got there and saw a tall blonde boy in the swings. I walk up to him and see him smile up at me "Hello my beautiful Luna. How are you today?" He asks as he pulls me into his lap. "Well I'm good, thanks for asking, just a little scared for prom." I say fidgeting with my thumbs.

Luke grabs them holding both in his hands, "And why is that?" He asks kissing my hands, up my arm, neck, behind may ear then my cheek making me giggle. " because older people are gonna be ther, I have to wear a dress. I'm scared." I say seriously as Luke looks at my face "stop starring at me." I say pushing his face. He laughs catching my lips in a kiss.

I pull away as he says "You have nothing to worry about I'll be there and if you want to leave tell me and we'll run away. Okay?" He asks at the end with his pinkie up. "Okay." I say hesitantly looping my pinkie in his, he kisses my pinkie making me laugh.

*hours later*

"What time does prom actually start?" I ask, never have gone to one. "Well i don't know, sometime around 6 p, were supposed to get dinner, but I have a feeling you don't want to." He says a little sadly. I sigh and say "I guess we can go out, but only because of your gorgeous face." I say kissing all over his large face.

"Okay, well you need to go home and get ready, so I can see you in your beautiful self all dressed up" I roll my eyes at his comment, but we begin walking to my house, pinkie in pinkie.

When we make it to my house I ask "Are we gonna go to your house?" He nods and I smile, kissing his cheek. I'm about to pull away, but he holds me in a hug whispering "I love you." I whisper back "I love you more." I could feel him smile before he presses his lips right against my ear sending spanks and shivers through me when he whispers "I love you most." I laugh kissing his neck, before pulling away and going into my house.

When I walk in I see my mom standing there with a stern look. "Hi mom." I say waving. "Hi Luna, what are you doing tonight?" I was scared to answer but said truthfully "U-Uh I'm gonna go to prom." I say as my moms stern face breaks into a grin. "Aww my baby girl is growing up." She says before pulling me into a tight hug.

" let me help you get ready!" She said and she did. We got everything we needed and went into her bathroom. She put in my makeup did my hair, while I did my nails. Then the final piece. My dress. I slipped it on, then held up my hair as my mom zipped it up, when I dropped my hair and looked in the mirror I gasped.

I looked beautiful for once, I felt beautiful for once "Oh sweetie, you look absolutely stunning." She says holding my shoulders. I smile and give my mom a hug whispering over and over again "Thank you thank you thank you." I grabbed my phone and noticed a text that I missed about 5 minutes ago saying 'I'm on my way to your house.'

As soon as I finish reading it, the doorbell rings. I freeze checking my hair in the mirror once more before swinging open the door some of my hair getting stuck in my lipgloss.

Luke's jaw drops as his mouth opens and closes like a fish. "You l-look s-so remarkable, no extraordinary, stunning, oh my gosh Lu. There is no word to describe how beautiful you look tonight." He finishes breathless. I smiled while blushing as my mom yelled "Look this way!" We both turn and see she had a camera. I wrap my arms around Luke's torso hiding my face in his chest. "Luna, smile! Take the picture."
