Day 25

Thursday, Luke acts a little funny.

I wake up to the sound of a constant buzzing making me groan as I pick up my phone and answer with a tired "Hello?" I hear nothing so I ask again "Hello?"

   I hear rustling and then I hear a hyper voice say "Hi babe!" I furrow my eyebrows as I hear Luke oh so perkily say. "Hi babe, what are you do calling me at..... 5 in then morning?"

   He sounds like he chuckles nervously as he says "Oh n-nothing I just wanted to hear your sweet voice. I'm sorry I woke you. I'll see you later, love you."

   Right before he hangs up I hear a feminine voice say "YO-" but it's cut off by the annoying noise signaling the end of a call. I shrug and put my phone down deciding to get up and get ready since I obviously was not gonna go back to sleep. See I have an issue where if I wake up early I can't ever go back to sleep.

I'm finally ready for the day as I walk out my front door dressed in a black floral top, black skinny jeans, and all black converse.

   I thought I looked pretty cute, but probably not. I see Luke's car parked right at my house and I walk over to him smiling.

   Strangely Luke forces a smile and says "Hey!" As I hop into his car. I notice he's wearing a hoody and some sweatpants which was weird for Luke considering he usually wore black skinny jeans with a band shirt. He still looked perfect though.

   I lean over and try to peck his lips, but he turns his head making me kiss his cheek and I look at him questionably, but shrug it off thinking that maybe I was just being to clingy.

The drive to school was dead silent and not the comfortable silence we're normally in, but the eerily awkward silence that no one likes. We eventually made it to school and I just started making my way to the school alone, noticing Luke's weird mood swing.

   I'm almost at the door when I feel arm gently go around my waist I'm about to push the person until I notice it's Luke. I'm about to ask him something, but he says "I'm sorry about this morning." I nod and continue walking with Luke to my locker.

*Skip school*

I had seen Luke in all of my the classes I had with him except English which was right before Lunch, but at Lunch he just magically happens to be there.

   It was weird, but hey I'm not going to be an overly controlling girlfriend. I was currently walking out to the parking lot with Luke.

   Our hands were lightly holding each others as we walked to his all black car. Once we get there, we get in in silence until I ask "Where were you in English?"

   Luke shrugs and says "I just didn't feel like going to English today." I nod and ignore it, because I didn't want to bug him anymore than I already had.

When the car stops I look up and see we're at the playground. I smile happily as I walk onto the crunchy pebbles of the playground and go over to the monkey bars. I climb and fit my fat butt I between to handle bars.

   I watch as Luke laughs while shaking his head at me making me chuckle slightly and ask "What?" He continues to shake his head as he says "Nothing you're just really cute." It made my cheeks red.

   I watch as Luke climbs up next to me and instead of sitting far away he sits right next to me wrapping his arm around my shoulders. I lean my head on his shoulder and he lays his head on mine making me giggle slightly.

   I grab his other hand in both of mine and play with his fingers as he softly hums random tunes into my ear. I could feel the wind slightly blowing my hair around as I softly close my eyes, letting out a soft sigh in content.

"Lu?" Luke whispers and I whisper back a "Yeah?" Luke kisses the top of my head and says "Please, don't ever like never ever leave me." I look up into Luke's eyes and see a small tear run down his face.

   I put my hand to his face and use my thumb to wipe it away, our faces were inches apart as I say softly "Luke I promise I won't ever leave you. I love you." Luke chokes out a "Promise?"

   I nod my head lightly making our foreheads touch. I lean closer to him whispering a "Promise" against his lips then fully attach our lips making me feel tingly everywhere.

   I don't think I would ever get tired of feeling Luke's lips on mine, it gave me the best feeling in the world. I just hope it never changes, because when I kiss him it doesn't just feel nice, but it takes away all my pain and insecurities.

   It makes me feel normal. And that's more than anything I could have ever asked for. I feel Luke's tongue slide across my bottom lip asking for entrance, but I don't let him. I pull away from the kiss and say "Why must you always do that?" Luke laughs and says "I just can't help myself I guess." I laugh shaking my head.

It had been almost 5 hours since we had been at the park so I finally decide to say "I think I should get home." Luke nods and jumps off the monkey bars, him being so tall and all it didn't affect his legs, but if I tried even as tall as I am, I'm pretty sure I would break something.

   "Come jump down and I'll catch you!" I hear Luke say and I look down at him and scream "Are you freaking crazy?!?! I'm gonna hurt you!" He laughs while shaking his head and says "Come on Lu. I promise I'll catch you babe!"

   I steadily sit on the edge and see Luke with open arms in front of me. I close my eyes and push myself off waiting for the impact that never comes. I open my tight shut eyes and say "I lived?" I feel my body and say "I lived!"

  Luke laughs as he holds me by my waist. I wrap my legs around him then say "Hey you! I love you!" Luke laughs then asks "Do you want me to give you a piggy back ride to your house." I look at him as if he's crazy and ask "Are you insane? I don't want to give you more back problems than you already have from supporting my weight!" Luke shakes his head and says "I promise you won't!" He puts me down leaning down so I can hop on his back.

I slowly put my hands on his shoulders then as softly as I can jump onto his back. I smile as. Luke easily lifts me up and holds my thighs ,supporting my legs. "Are you okay?" I ask him and he nods then says "You're so easy to carry."

   Luke begins walking the direction of my house. About half way to my house I feel his hands tapping an unknown beat on my butt making me jump then ask "What are you doing?" He laughs and says "Enjoying my girlfriends wonderful and beautiful bum."

    I smack his face lightly with one of my hands, but let him continue because I mean who wouldn't want Luke hemmings to tap a beat on your bum.

When we finally get to my house Luke puts me down and doesn't seem the least bit tired, but I still ask "Are you okay? I hope i didn't hurt you." Luke responds "No babe! You're light I'm fine see."

   He moves his body around weirdly as i laugh at him. Luke stops moving and leans down to my face whispering "You're so beautiful and you don't even know it."

   I smile as I make our lips touch making us have a smiley kiss. I pull away, but Luke pecks my lips quickly once more before pulling away completely making me laugh. "Goodnight I love you." I say to Luke who watches me walk up to my front door.
